I never paid much attention to right wing zealots, but I don’t think I ever had anti-retirement stances on my bingo card of what they would be advocating for/against.

Seems like regardless of political ideology, most of us hope to retire while we have plenty of life left to live and focus on the things we enjoy most in life.
Ben 41yo and sits on his ass all day making comments on the current political issues

I am 73yo and sit on my ass all day posting political comments on the current politics of the day, and I do the same thing Ben does free of charge:)

So I can assure Ben that if he wants to be spouting his bullshit when he is 73yo he should no problems whether he has health problems or physical limitations. Health problems and physical limitations haven't kept me from posting my political views just like you do.

now construction workers, inpatient nurses and others who do actual physical labor, on the other hand...

He also must not know a lot of people who have retired if everyone he knows who retired died within 5 years of retirement. He also doesn’t seem to understand how life expectancy works.

Anyway, if this current administration doesn’t screw things up too badly in the long term, I hope to retire by 60, at which point I hope to travel, enjoy my hobbies (and take up new ones), become involved with the community in ways and to an extent I am unable to now with work and parenting demands, and spend time with family.

... Didn't he negotiate the deal that made us give it away?
His deal was vague on details (imagine that?), and said there would be no U.S. troops left in Afghanistan after full withdrawal but did not expressly address Bagram.

Biden was advised by several in the Pentagon to try to keep Bagram from what I read.
