The MAGATS hear Trump’s lies and believe them.

Why not lie to them?

There is no downside to Trump lying to MAGATs.
Trump lied and lied and lied to the UN. My guess is the rest of the world didn't believe him...

Don’t really know where this belongs, but it’s interesting. Customs and border patrol will be seizing all products made by Giant Manufacturing Co in Taiwan. Giant makes bicycle frames, parts and accessories under the Giant name but also for many other brands including Trek and Scott. Most of their low-mid range aluminum and high end carbon manufacturing is in Taiwan. CBP claims to have information that Giant is using forced labor, which has been a problem in Taiwan in the past.

[Liberals defend her claim on a rather silly technicality based on the popular vote — they don’t count Bush’s win in 2000 or Trump in 2016 for that purpose because both lost the popular vote. I think it is a silly claim but hilarious for Trump to demand an apology for such a stretch/exaggeration.

I get what you're saying, but losing the national popular vote by 1.5% is extremely close compared to the great majority of presidential elections. Trump acting as if he won by a landslide is what is a joke here. Especially his claim about winning far more counties than Kamala - that's been happening for decades now, and Republicans love to look at those mostly red USA maps with islands of blue dotting it. What they never mention is that most of those red counties don't have very many people in most cases, especially when compared to much more densely populated blue urban counties. LA County in CA, for instance, has a larger population by itself than nearly all of the red states in the middle of the country. And Trump's victory margins in most of the swing states was small and could easily have been reversed - they certainly weren't landslide victories. That Trump post was classic insecurity on his part, and his demand that everyone - liberals included! - accept that he won by a great landslide. Underneath all that braggadocio he's an extremely insecure man, just like most of his base.

Remember this?

And in unrelated news:

Oh, that's wonderful news for people who care about teachers and education everywhere. What an asshole (and assclown) he has been, and just a horrible force in OK public ed. Of course it is Oklahoma - the only state where every single county voted for Trump last year - so they'll probably get someone just as bad, if not worse, if that's possible. Still, having him leave a position of actual authority over public ed and teachers is great news. Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out, dude.
