Vance needs a blonde, Christian, white woman by his side by 2028.

Also, Usha's birthday being the same day MAGA tried to overthrow our seat of government in 2021 is probably a real downer for poor JD. I'm sure he'd rather be free to celebrate the memory of the Insurrection as opposed to something as trivial as his wife's birthday.

I highly doubt that JD is going to run off with Erika Kirk (at least in public, we all know that traditional family values Republicans love to do lots of things in private they preach against in public), but on a serious note I do think that JD's wife is going to be a real obstacle to him winning the GOP nomination, given that she's not a Christian (she's Hindu) and is a brown-skinned daughter of immigrants. Look at what happened to Nikki Haley, and I don't think that MAGAs will be much more forgiving of having a non-Christian spouse as First Lady. I look for his wife to either miraculously "convert" to Christianity sometime before the end of 2027, or he will struggle with white Evangelical Republicans in the 2028 primaries, especially against GOP opponents who won't hesitate to use his wife's religion and ancestry against him.

Of course Trump may still run again and all of this will be moot.
 

14 current and former officers in Mississippi arrested in ‘drug trafficking takedown’​


SUNFLOWER COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) - Fourteen current and former law enforcement officers and six co-conspirators in Mississippi have been arrested on drug-related charges by the FBI.

On Thursday, federal officials announced the arrests, which spanned multiple counties and multiple jurisdictions in the Mississippi Delta.

Those arrested include Washington County Sheriff Milton Gaston, Humphreys County Sheriff Bruce Williams, and Sunflower County Chief Deputy Marvin Flowers.

“This corruption permeated all levels, extended across multiple counties, multiple jurisdictions. The Department of Justice and its subset, the FBI, will not allow wrongdoers to get away with it,” said FBI Deputy Director Andrew Bailey.

Just completely tossed his wife under the Christian bus.

It's funny to hear people talk about how respectful he is and how he tries to engage the other side. No he doesn't. Just because he doesn't rant with spittle foaming in the corners of his mouth like most of MAGA does not mean he is respectful. He says the same crap they say just with a softer voice. He does not respect other people. He lies continually.
 
Evangelicals are a close run second to Muslim terrorists to being the most anti American people in the US. They ought to have to swear an oath to the country to serve in government to put the Constitution ahead of their religion. Their heretical readings of scripture are poison to the nation. Even a true reading (ha ha ha) is bad enough.
