Bonchon is really good. But the closest to ENC is Capital Blvd in Raleigh.i wish there was a good korean fried chicken chain. there probably is somewhere more civilized than ENC.
will definitely check them out next time i'm in civilization, thanks.Bonchon is really good. But the closest to ENC is Capital Blvd in Raleigh.
Great Korean fried chicken is the best of the category. If you're ever in Charlotte, try Seoul Food. Everything there is fantastic, but the (real) KFC is so good. Even Hawkers has great KFC wings.will definitely check them out next time i'm in civilization, thanks.
Yeah in Greensboro, of my usual lunch spots, there is one hibachi place that has somehow managed to keep its prices basically the same where my lunch is right around $8. Then a little Mexican place where I can eat for around $10. Pretty much every other restaurant I go to for lunch will be in the $13-18 range. (I don't do fast food for lunch, unless I'm on the road.)Other than the big chain fast food restaurants, which I don’t eat at unless I’m on the road, I find it impossible to find a restaurant lunch for less than $10 these days. In fact, It’s extremely difficult to find a restaurant lunch for less than $15 these days.
if you're ever in the philadelphia suburbs, this place was good to me a few months ago: The Best Korean Fried Chicken & Beer in PhoenixvilleGreat Korean fried chicken is the best of the category. To be fair the main way to save money on meals is simply to avoid eating out at all. There are lots of great, nutritious, filling meals that you can still make for $20-25 for a family of four, and even have a portion left over to make a lunch the next day. The issue is the time/mental energy investment of planning out and preparing your meals, which is easier for some people than others based on how much time they have available and how their brain works. Some people really enjoy meal prepping for a whole week's worth of meals on the weekend; some don't at all.I'm lucky that my company has a cafeteria. When I don't bring my lunch I can eat there for under $10.
Is sad that $10 sounds like we're being cheap, but that adds up.
Considering the income number's in the US, I wonder what percentage of people's income goes to feeding their families.
Completely agree. To be fair the main way to save money on meals is simply to avoid eating out at all. For 5 years I live a mile from work. I so miss going home for lunch.Thankfully my office is close to my home, and it’s an old house, so I don’t have to deal with a parking garage, which makes it easy for me to go home for lunch.
The founder of Raising Canes is on shark tank. He said that he has never changed the menu. Just consistent quality food is his recipe. We went to the one in WF and I wasn’t impressed. Chicken is ok but way too expensive for what it is. Won’t be going back.
Raising Canes in Chapel was a lot better and about 1/2 the price if I remember correctly.
By KFC you mean Korean Fried Chicken, i assume? My brain went to Kentucky fried chicken and I had to read it again.Great Korean fried chicken is the best of the category.
