Well, I work for a company that contracts with USAID and people have been laid off because they don't have any funding. Is that enough support? The media has done plenty of reporting on the fact that the funding is still frozen despite the court orders to unfreeze them.

We let a bit go here but saying you'll defecate on his face is a bit too personal and across the line. For future reference, the more narrow, targeted, personal, etc. the greater chances it's over the line and will be deleted, warning, banned, and so on.

I know emotions run high and all that but, just keep it a tad more civil.

Yep. I now know 15+ federal workers, affected by firings, rescinded offers, freezes in funding. These are highly productive, super smart people.

If you fine people here (my UNC people and a few good Duke folks) don't yet see, we are in the battle of our lives and we need to get after it.

I swear to the flying spaghetti monster, I will fuck up these rednecks before all is said and done.

I did have one additional parting thought.

I was assured, very recently, by Donald j Trump and Elon Musk that I, as a straight, white man, could say anything I want to anyone, with no repercussions. I now know that was his 37,945th lie.
