How dare I treat you the way you acted. You didn't think acting that disingenuous about the separation of powers didn't deserve a child's primer?

You're claiming to be omniscient and using that claimed omniscience to justify being a prick.
Wait, are you saying you weren't being disingenuous and you simply really are that dumb? Takes a big man to admit that. Kudos...

Keep going, Elon. This is insane.

Or maybe he is complaining that a government checkbook office dose t duplicate the record-keeping actually being done by the feral agencies in charge of reviewing and confirming payment. He is co distantly playing a game of OMG 😱 no one is keeping track because the agency whose only job is to receive directions to make the actual payment is not also doing the job of the agency funded and and charged with contracting for and approving the payment.

It’s like blaming Bank of America if your check didn’t have enough detail in the check memo line for a random audit of Bank of America checks cashed to discern what the checks were for as part of your personal budget.

What Eric Trump claims is of no interest. He's doing his job to paint a certain picture to benefit his dad. That's the norm for politics.

"the majority are housed in more affordable establishments, and none in five-star hotels."

Not exactly reassuring.

According to this link, NY has the third most expensive hotel average of any US city. So, if we have to house them in hotels, which I don't believe is necessary, why NY or any generally expensive city?
Because that's where DeSantis and Abbott bussed them. We said at the time that it was a ridiculously terrible use of money. You disagreed. Maybe you could apologize?

Also, I wrote you an explainer. If you're not going to read it, then i won't do it again.

The problem is you're ignoring the bigger underlying issue. How and why were the illegals in the country in the first place. Secondly, they didn't send that many to New York to justify that amount and illegals getting luxurious hotel accommodations while hard working Americans struggled under the Biden economy. The left is constantly defending the indefensible. The election proves why you guys are constantly wrong and you continue to double down on the stupidity.

The decision to put them up in expensive hotels in NYC isn't the fault of Desantis or Abbott. I support the decision to bus them because it brought the issue to the forefront.

Plus, Kathy Hochul loves immigrants. Abbott and Desantis were just making her wishes come true.

I didn't see it.

If it's because they're close to the US immigration courts, that's illogical also because court hearings can be done remotely.
This was explained already. Republicans sent them there.

My understanding is they weren’t here illegally. I think it has even been pointed out on this thread.

It's on a thread called explainer. Meanwhile, if you support busing the migrants to NYC, then how the hell can you complain about the cost. As you stated in a post immediately above this one, "why NY or any generally expensive city?"

Elections don't determine truth, especially not when one side is a firehose of lies.

The migrants are in the country because that's the law that Congress passed. And because international law and international treaties so require. This is not a matter of debate. Federal law requires people seeking asylum to have a day in court. The courts have 8 to 10 years backlog. The Dems have many times tried to increase the number of immigration courts, but the nativists in the GOP always block it. For instance, that immigration bill from last year. They block it because they don't want to solve the problem. They want to keep people like you perpetually enraged so that you will continue to vote for people who loot the treasury.

What's indefensible is the executive branch disregarding the laws passed by Congress. How is it that you don't get it? Millions of Americans have fought and died in uniform to protect our freedom and our constitution. They didn't do it so a petty dictator could ignore the law. I mean, I get it -- white southerners have always had trouble with obeying the law. Maybe it's in your DNA.

The other thing that's indefensible is your arrogance. You know nothing, and talk down to people who do. WTF is that? Is your penis really that small, almost microscopic? I mean, it's OK. You can't control the size of your tool. But you can control how much of a tool you are.

Like I said, they didn't have to keep the migrants in NYC nor did they have to put them up in expensive NY hotels.

There are other options.

One would think, if that were the case, someone involved would have pointed that out to him at some point. If he's standing over the shoulder of the "check writer" and says (in shock) "Do you NOT put anything in the description????", that person would say "This is just the check writing stage. All of the details of how the money is spent is tracked by (insert department name)."

Still, I will be curious to see how much fraud is found and will wonder why, if a significant amount is uncovered, why it took this long to find.

Make a big show of sending immigrants to NYC and then have a fit about immigrants being housed in NYC.

1. They aren't putting them up in expensive hotels. What part of that do you not understand.
2. NY doesn't have the power to bus the migrants around. That Desantis and Abbott did so by having them sign phony waivers is not a model that should be emulated.
3. Why didn't the Pubs just pass the bipartisan immigration bill? That's so much easier than all this convoluted nonsense.

The part where NYC has the third highest average hotel cost in the country. Surely you've been to NYC. There are no cheap hotels, restaurants, etc.

Ok. Get them to agree to go somewhere else OR find another way to house them.

Because it was politically beneficial to have an open issue. The same reason, for example, legislation is sometimes held up in Congress by one party or the other.

I lived in NYC for years. You're right -- the cost of living is high. Again, what are you complaining about? They maxed out all the other options. You know what NYC doesn't have a lot of? Empty buildings.
