Hegseth (and his undersecretary) look like reject Bond villains with their posturing in this standoff with Anthropic.

I wonder if Musk has been provoking them to be this stupid for his own advantage … get these morons to displace Claude and he’ll no doubt be there to provide alternative service (though he can’t provide anything as effective right now).

I know that sounds conspiratorial but I cannot fathom otherwise why Hegseth would pick this fight this publicly.

I can't wait to see the transcript which is to be made public no later than this afternoon. I just hope the transcript isn't "lost" before it has to made public.

So now Comer and his Klowns should depose Melania since she actually was close friends with Epstein and Maxwell; and then after deposing Bill Clinton they should depose Donald J. Trump.

We saw her do these kinds of hearings at great length for years and know her deeply informed, dry but combative (sometimes clearly angry) approach, which may be irritating to many but is not screaming and unhinged.

But a great example of why Comer and crew refused to make this a public hearing, so they could come out and lie about something that won’t be able to be discerned from the transcript.

our politics are so dumb. Why can't this be a public hearing?

If it's gonna be confidential why do we allow people to come out and tell stories about it?

We know he won't do it, but this will just add more fire to the cover-up and even some of the dissension within his voters related to Epstein.
"Why can't he testify if he's done nothing wrong?"

It won't go anywhere, but it will be a good cycle of news, and we might get some unhinged responses from him. I like it.

I think earth 1 readers of the transcript will be able to discern whether Clinton was an unhinged screaming banshee during the deposition. We have seen House Oversight hearings with our own eyes and stumbling bumbling Comer and his Klowns performance yesterday in private will corroborate what we have seen in public.

Has the transcript been released ?

I agree with much of what you say, but I think you would have to agree that Nancy Mace knows a lot more than we do about how a woman acts when she becomes unhinged.
