That's an odd choice. Random twitter account is not going to post some hacker troll's genocidal or anti-semitic comments but they will post their comments calling the president of the United States a pedophile. Not upset about it but not really understanding the logic behind it.

my grandfather was 32 when he first impregnated my 12 yr old grandmother. they had 10 very successful children.

The grandfather should have never had the chance to have 9 other children- he should have been castrated publicly in the town square, force-fed his severed balls, and then thrown under the jail for getting a freaking 12 year old girl pregnant as a 32-year-old. Any grown man who finds a freaking TWELVE YEAR OLD sexually attractive or otherwise has sex with a TWELVE YEAR OLD should be removed from society.

I don't take it as bragging so far. It's a fact of his life. It's just like it's a fact that my grandfather got two women pregnant at the same time and didn't end up marrying my mom's mom until he got her pregnant a second time. My mom was fostered out and never lived with her parents. She wasn't on even decent terms with her father until she was a 22 year old widow with two kids. We still moved in with my dad's family. That was partly a room issue since he and his second wife had 6 girls still at home. That's just how poorly women were regarded.
 
My grandfather graduated from high school at age 16 in the depths of the Great Depression.

His English teacher helped him earn a scholarship at a “teachers’ college.”

Oh yeah……Grandad and that English teacher had been having an affair and sexual relationship for a year or so. The teacher was 19-21. He always had a smile in his voice reminiscing about her.

It definitely was a different era.

I’m hoping OG is in his 70’s or 80’s; and, his grandmother was 80+ when OG was born. One hundred and sixty years ago was 1865.

A 32 year-old marrying a 12 year-old (I’m assuming OG’s grandparents were married) is disgusting. I don’t care when it was. No 12 year-old wants to have sex with a 32 year-old. To a 12 year-old, 30+ is OLD.

And, a 32 year-old doesn’t have sex with a 12 year-old. He rapes her.
 
My paternal grandfather was a piece of shit, an abusive alcoholic and a serial adulterer who was essentially only ever home to procreate. He and my grandmother had 12 children- I’d guess at least some of them, if not many, were the product of non-consensual sex- and that’s not counting the 6 other children (that we know about) he fathered out of wedlock during that time.
 
I know a guy that is about 75-maybe 73?
His grandfather was in the civil war His grandfather had a child at like age 70-and his father at like 60-those numbers are not exact-but it works

Agreed. I’m not even sure how many 12 year old girls are even interested in sex, let alone sex with a friggin’ man 20 years older. And I’m certainly sure there aren’t many 12 year olds who want to go through pregnancy, labor, and delivery.

I do understand at some point that “times were different” but there is not a single point in time under any circumstance where a 32 year-old raping a 12 year old is anything other than disgusting and vile.
 


Self-inflicted bad timing for the government to face a deadline to make a SCOTUS filing involving Maxwell … though I would be surprised if SCOTUS refused another extension if DOJ doesn’t want to make the filing during the current fraught political moment.
