House GOP, facing midterms that will hammer them with Epstein, need this vote. It will probably win with a huge majority if they can get the 218 signatures to force a vote but I doubt it goes anywhere after that.

As long as Trump is against the release of the documents and so many MAGA are in favor of it, I could see the Dems pushing it over the signature threshold just to force a vote.

Exactly. The Pubs are deliberately slow walking the issue even as one by one they come out in support of releasing the info. Day after day another one goes on record as calling for it. Soon, they’ll have had enough time to cobble together some BS “report” that loosely dovetails nicely with a video of a jail cell. But like the video, the report will be mysteriously missing the equivalent of about 2’53” worth of details… names redacted, etc. By then, all the Pubs will have gone on record as “calling for it”. Once it’s made public, and there’s is magically no “there, there” they can trumpet their good deeds and Pat themselves on the back while MAGA rolls on.

we all know this is BS, but this seems like an opportunity missed Biden admin. Even if Trump's not in it(we know he is) transparency on a major case this scandalous would be a good thing.
