I see three distinct "WTF" milestones:

1. When he announced in 2015
2. When he ran again in 2020 (and anything inclusive of his 1st term, e.g., "very fine people on bosides," etc.)
3. Jan 6, 2021

Even though I don't get voting for him in the first place, I can forgive #1. #2 is much harder to overlook (voting for him again even after the disastrous and shit-filled 1st term). But #3? January 6, 2021 really separates the proverbial MAGA men from the boys.

Can you imagine what a meeting with Trump on this subject is like? The whole meeting would be about "what they can get away with" to shut this down. Which means they are going thru every conceivable (corrupt) option. And say what you will about Trump, but he's very creative in these matters so they are having some LONG meetings.

My dad used to love watching him some O'Reilly back in the day, when O'Reilly was in his prime. I couldn't stand O'Reilly (or Fox) even then. I still remember him hawking those "Killing Lincoln", "Killing Kennedy", "Killing Jesus", etc. books all the damn time on his shows. My dad wanted me to get one, but I refused and told him that the books were all ghostwritten by somebody else, he just slapped his name on the cover and sold them (Bart Ehrman said as much in one of his blogs about the "Killing Jesus" book). I got a good chuckle when O'Reilly finally got fired for sexual harassment, as it seemed obvious on some of his shows that he was practically leering at his female guests and colleagues. Little did I know that he would be replaced in that time slot with someone who was considerably worse (Tucker) and then Tucker would be fired and replaced by someone who was even worse (Watters). That 8 PM time slot has some definite reverse evolution going on there. I expect the next host after Watters inevitably gets fired will be a Neanderthal like the old "Caveman Lawyer" routine on SNL.

Was that the same time slot that actually began with Hannity and Colmes? Or did that little circus come along later in the evening?
