Well, it looks like the Brit populace feels otherwise...not dissimilar from our country where Trump is at 37% approval but corporate America and their subsidiary GQP Congress are bending the knee and beseeching favor.
It's a tough situation to be in. Trump is a bully. The easy way to manage him is to placate his ego. But for politicians, there is a huge cost to publicly genuflecting in order to get the concessions their country needs. They don't want to be stuck in the India situation with 50% tariffs being bandied about and tanking their stock market.

So you send the Deputy Attorney General of the United States to interview her in order for her to tell her story much like a Barbara Walters or Oprah interview...
Yeah, how many sex offenders are extended the "opportunity to speak" about their crimes? I can't think of a single one and even raising the issue in that way is risible.

She had an opportunity to speak, at her trial. She turned it down. And for the prosecution that's enough.

Seems like Patel’s answer would have been that there is no client list, which he has publicly stated a number of times. Honestly, he is so unqualified for the job at hand it is hard to figure out whether his response means there is a client list and he is inartfully dodging or he is so bad at this that his dodge makes it sound like there is a client list.

“… Ansari and other Democratic congressional leaders, on a break from the hearing, described Acosta’s testimony as “defiant,” “unremorseful” and “evasive.”

They said the former FIU law professor said Epstein’s victims weren’t credible — and that he didn’t believe that their stories of sexual assault would lead to a successful federal prosecution. Acosta “essentially said he didn’t have faith in the victims, their stories and their ability to tell their own story and their own testimony, which is deeply disturbing to all of us sitting in there,” said Rep. Maxwell Frost during the break.

They said they also found it disturbing that, even in hindsight, Acosta would not admit that mistakes were made and was not apologetic about how his actions led to other victims being abused by Epstein….”

Given what Costa knows about Epstein, Epstein's Merry Band of Pedophiles, and who was pulling the strings in Epstein's 2008 sweetheart deal, then he was probably tempted "drop trou" during the hearing and tell the Democratic members of the panel to kiss his ass. But "professional decorum" prevented him from doing so.

What’s with the “supreme friend” email from Trump? New spot light?
Finally steal back the 24 hour news cycle away from Kirkenstein?
