Dershowitz says he knows Epstein client list names: ‘But I’m bound by confidentiality’

Pundit Sean Spicer resurfaced on Thursday a March interview with Alan Dershowitz in which the attorney said he knows all about a list of Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged clients.

“I know the names of the individuals. I know why they’re being suppressed. I know who’s suppressing them,” Dershowitz said during an appearance on “The Sean Spicer Show” that was originally broadcast on March 19 and was reposted on social media on Thursday.

aren't they just going to release some BS to calm the base?
With all these reports of meetings at the White House with Bondi, Patel, and others, it wouldn't surprise me if they release a fake list or a severely redacted real list showing only the names of Democrats (say, Bill Clinton) or RINOs or celebrities. You can bet if they do Trump's name will be nowhere on that list, nor will anyone associated with him (unless they determine there is some advantage to releasing their name, as Trumpworld has no loyalty to anyone).

It's really sad how far Dershowitz has fallen. He may have some real information given his past representation of Epstein but this sort of "I know something you don't" crap is pathetic.

This cover-up, more than anything since Trump came down that escalator, lays bare maga’s unadulterated lack of principles beyond hatred, insecurity, and complete unthinking fealty. Child trafficking, pedophilia, and a conspiracy of the elites was once a stated cornerstone of the entire fucking movement.

Note that “we” shall “forever” call it the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax. “PAST supporters” are “weaklings”(because they won’t bend to his will) no longer part of “we” (MAGA).

He has nothing to run for but the rest of the GOP may not be thrilled with the childish “I don’t want their support anymore!”

I know many of us have already said this many times (including me on occasion), but Trump really does have the temperament and personality of an incredibly spoiled, incredibly selfish, and incredibly self-centered five-year-old brat. "If my supporters won't listen to me and ignore this thing I'm telling them to ignore, then they're stupid, lazy and weak bums and I don't want their help anymore! Now let me order some KFC and watch Hannity!"

I would do this as a poll if I knew how to make that technology work. Serious question, though. How many of us have had a conversation with people we love and care about, whether it's parents, close friends, etc., where we've said something like this -- "I'm opposed to Trump because of the way you raised me. You taught me to stand up to people like that. You taught me that's what it means to be a man/woman/adult."

I have. I suspect most of us have as well. This is what I can't comprehend that the Rams of our world don't understand. We were all taught to look for the wolf. How could so many people miss his appearance?

I literally feel betrayed by the people who raised me, who taught me what it means to be moral, but who have somehow fallen in line with the most immoral person who has ever attempted to represent Americans on the federal level. I cannot conceive how decent, moral, law-abiding people could reconcile their own principles with the Republicans who are ruling our lives today. But I hope you all know -- I'm not a Democrat because I love Democrats. I'm a Democrat because I can't possibly imagine being a Republican in this immoral, violent, selfish moment in American history.

Anyone who supports Trump at this point is just a dumbass.
That's been true from the moment he came down the escalator and declared his candidacy and called Mexicans "rapists" in his very first presidential campaign speech. That a few of them have some dawning flickers in their brains that Dear Leader might not be the most decent or honest or well-meaning person is another sign of just what dumbasses so many of them have been for the past decade, and to the remarkable power and influence of the right-wing news media bubble.

So I think Dems should not make the Epstein files a central part of their campaigns. That table has been set by disaffected MAGAs and no matter how desperate Trump is to get this off his plate I think this will continue into the 2026 election. There is no placating MAGA conspiracists.

Dems don't need to pile on. Stand back and let MAGAs do the work to keep the Epstein files alive as an issue.

It's an off year election and Trump is not on the ballot which bodes well for Dems.

Dems need to keep their eye on the ball and campaign on just three issues ( which is all the general public can digest )

1 ) the GQP BBB cuts Medicare and Medicaid which is taking away your health care

2 ) the GQP BBB raises your taxes in order to cut taxes for millionaires and billionaires

3 ) GQPers in Congress support their deportation policy which rips children from their families and deports non-violent immigrants who have been working for years to take care of our many needs.

Rinse an repeat over and over and over and over...

and yes I know democracy is at stake. I know we are on the precipice of an autocracy. I know our civil rights are at grave risk.

But to campaign on those very important and grave concerns will amount to an esoteric howling at the moon as it concerns the average American voter next year...sad but true

Win the House

Win the Senate

A thousand points of light;)
Yeah, and also, the 2026 campaign is almost a year away from starting in earnest; the whole Epstein thing will be either out of people's memories or in a completely different place by then.

Or being constantly told growing up to keep a sharp eye out for the Antichrist, and then getting completely suckered by a guy who is the total opposite of Christ in pretty much every way.

I believe there was a well respected southern gentleman who learned an most applicable phrase from his mother:

Stupid is as stupid does.

Or, as was once told to another fine southern fellow of Greek descent in a renowned film -- "you are literally too stupid to insult".

Both apply fully to MAGAts
