At this point, it’s a 99.9% likelihood he’s a significant character in the Epstein case. This is like when a 4 year old keeps repeating “I’m not lying”, while ignorant of the fact every “I’m not lying” grows the probability of their guilt.
+1

Trump's responses to questions about anything Epstein related are so transparent. His own base is screeching to release the files and Trump is over there deflecting like...

Here’s my question: Why did Trump even bring up releasing the Epstein files during his campaign? Why didn’t he just keep his mouth shut back then?

Link?

I have not seen any Trump quote on releasing the Epstein files during any campaign rally or any campaign truth/tweet.

The closest I have seen is the edited Fox video where he says he is "less so" willing to release the Epstein files.

I guess never brought up. He just responded to questions about it:

That article just mentions the Fox interview I noted, and a Lex Friedman podcast in September 2024 in which Trump said he would probably release the files.

I mean, I guess a Lex Friedman podcast is not nothing (he generally is a good podcaster) but given how many words Trump said in 2024, two instances of wishy washy answers about what he might do with the Epstein files is pretty insignificant to the campaign as a whole.

Yes. My question about him bringing it up was based an an erroneous premise/memory. I think it was based more on third party assertions that he would release the files.

Was that the same time slot that actually began with Hannity and Colmes? Or did that little circus come along later in the evening?
I'm not completely sure, but I think it ran at 9 PM on weeknights, and was replaced by Hannity's current show, which also uses that time slot. I could be wrong though. I still remember how weak Colmes as a host was compared to Hannity, who clearly dominated the program. Al Franken in his comedian days used to make fun of the show by writing the title as "HANNITY and Colmes" with Colmes printed in an extra tiny font. Despite the Fox slogan at the time, that show was about as "Fair and Unbalanced" as it was possible to be.

You are a sad human. If all is lost and bosides is your rational for being impotent with your wasted vote all I can say is bless your smarter than everyone heart!?!
thank you. i wont apologize for having parents that installed a type of character that most don't have nor do i take credit for anything i have/had zero control over. blame your parents and yourself for not being able to accept that you have none and that you are nothing more than an easily controlled sheep in a very large herd.

From the demonstrations you've given, I can't imagine wanting your sort of character.

Loomer delivers searing warning: Epstein could ‘consume’ Trump presidency

The president has tried to tamp down the rebellion among his supporters.

“… “Obviously, this is not a complete hoax given the fact that Ghislaine Maxwell is currently serving 20 years in prison in Florida for her crimes and activities with Jeffrey Epstein, who we know is a convicted sexual predator,” Loomer told POLITICO.

“This is why I said, and I’ll reiterate it again, the best thing that the president can do is appoint a special counsel to handle the Epstein files investigation.”

… As Bondi faces heightened scrutiny for her repeated attempts to dodge questions about the Epstein files, Loomer also teased that “there are people in the White House who agree with me that Pam [Bondi] spent too much time on Fox News and her statements were inconsistent and undermined what messaging is today about the Epstein files.”

Other prominent MAGA-aligned supporters of the president have also warned that Trump could see significant damage to his standing among his base if he does not change course.…”

QAnon shows the staying power of Epstein theories. Trump should know they won’t go away

“… Jeffrey Epstein was [and remains] a central character in the QAnon theory. Q posted dozens of times about the convicted sex offender and accused sex trafficker while pointing out his ties to Democratic Party politicians.

Already convinced that Trump was sending secret, coded QAnon messages in his speeches and public appearances (he wasn’t), the crowd at this 2020 event took his refusal to disavow the conspiracy theory as an endorsement of it.

In the years since, Trump has repeatedly posted memes that include QAnon iconography. In May, the liberal watchdog Media Matters found Trump had amplified QAnon-promoting accounts on his Truth Social page more than 1,000 times since 2022.

In the eyes of QAnon’s adherents, that was a thousand endorsements of a wild conspiracy theory in which Epstein is a central figure.

That’s why Trump’s sudden dismissal and disapproval of his base’s relentless questions about the so-called Epstein files this week has come as such a shock to many among MAGA and QAnon adherents.…”
