I had already found a YouTube link for the game, but got my parents' login info for their Specturm account for future use.

Curious as to how one streams ESPN content to YouTube?

No effing way I'm paying Disney more than I have to for ESPN content. And YTTV needs to do better than $20 credit between 7 or so ESPN-affiliate channels, 2 or 3 FX chanels, NatGeo channels, and others. I doubt there's much viewership on two thirds of their channels.

Extortion is a reason feds should be enforcing laws regulating monopolies ! YouTubeTV has little choice but to pay up. Interestingly, this is a case of two monopolies fighting…. Google vs Disney. My opinion… advantage Disney.

Can’t imagine the NFL is happy with ESPN here, as Sunday Ticket is on YouTube. The more people ESPN poaches, the less Sunday Ticket packages the NFL can sell.

I wont watch the Duke hoops game tonight. I would rather never watch if it meant paying Disney more

ESPN now owns the NFL Network. But YouTube has rights to Sunday Ticket through the 2029-30 season

My fubo tv ended this morning (great timing) so officially a free agent

I guess it is espn unlimited at $30/month for the time being with nothing else

I'll see how bad I want to watch non-espn league/conferences. Need YTTV back at a reasonable cost

fwiw i watched the UNC women's game last night on the ESPN app with my Sling login, well after my day pass from Monday had expired. might be worth knowing for some of you

ESPN Bet shutting down just 2years into a 10 year contract.

Even less competition in an online sports book market that is dominated by a couple large companies - to the great detriment of consumers.

Personally, despite the fact that I do it myself sometimes, I hope we punt the current version of online sports gambling into the sun. But unfortunately our culture is becoming more gameified in just about every respect. Soon I'm going to be walking into Starbucks and being given the option to pay an extra 50 cents so I can spin a little digital wheel with a 10% chance of making my coffee free.

Preach. The big online sportsbooks like DK and FD are such a blight.

The predatory nature of their business model is bad enough, but as someone that doesn’t gamble at all, I really hate how they ram contrived gambling content down our throats at every opportunity. You can’t watch/listen to a game, commentary show, podcast, etc. these days without a shitty segment about 28-leg parlays sponsored by draft kings.

So what’s the likelihood of finding tonight’s game on a YouTube livestream?
Not sure. I guess being a "follower" of a YouTube creator who is "encoder streaming" from their desktop?
I'm just guessing here...
And if you're not already a follower of the creator, you'll never here or learn about it. I guess it's like "IYKYK"
The question is: wouldn't YouTube flag that type of creator content and take it down immediately? At least until the game is over and ESPN releases the content.
Is that how "pirates" in Asia upload stolen content - flying under the radar of the YouTube controllers?
