Looks like it will.

Additionally, ESPN’s full lineup of sports – including content from the ESPN Unlimited app, launched earlier this year – will be made available to YouTube TV’s base plan subscribers at no additional cost by the end of 2026.
ESPN Unlimited is $30/month. If it is being added "at no cost" ie to the basic package, it is because YTTV basic package price will go up to cover that cost.

I saw an article in the last week or so that said ESPN Unlimited was the actual hold up on a deal. While the original reporting was that YTTV wanted a lower carriage rate, there was a subsequent agreement on the carriage rate, but ESPN/Disney wanted ESPN Ultimate added to the base YTTV package. If you think ESPN/Disney is giving ESPN Unlimited for free, then I have a bridge to sell you in Iowa. If you think Google is going to eat that additional carriage rate, I have a different bridge to sell you in Nebraska.

I thought it was my recordings.
You have to be very careful how you access them. You go to “My Stuff” then recordings. If you access them through shortcuts you can end up watching an on-demand version, which doesn’t let you fast forward commercials.

But this does highlight an issue that the Hulu user interface is much worse than the YTTV interface.

Fubo's reception and buffering are far worse than YTTV.

I had Fubo once for about a month.

Their customer service was so bad, I cancelled.

They blamed me for not being able to watch on my computer. Though I have never had an issue watching any other streaming service on my computer.

I live in the fantasy world where I thought Disney would give its Disney + subscribers access to ESPN during this dispute, but then I woke up knowing that neither corporation gives a shit about their subscribers, short of realizing capitulating to a dictator is not a smart business decision.

I just learned on Thursday my wife has had the Disney+/Hulu/ESPN app the whole time after I have missed two weekends of college football. (not the ESPN Unlimited version.)
So then you didn't miss anything because it was all still blocked

Read that part of the deal could lead to YTTV having a sports only bundle option down the road.
