ESPN gone from YouTubeTV

This sucks. My 80 year-old mother uses YouTube TV to watch UNC games and that is a big priority. If this doesn’t get fixed, switching to another service is not a small task.

Well, looks like the $19.99 bundle only includes the ESPN+ broadcasts and not the content that's on the regular ESPN channels. To get that you have to pay for the $29.99 bundle. Really hating Disney for this crap. I think I will ask my mom and dad for their Spectrum login and see if that works to watch with the ESPN app.

Yeah I've had the Disney/Hulu/ESPN bundle with Verizon for years and was unable to watch the game tonight - will be cancelling that bundle

The sling $5 day deal is what I used for the game and this is a highly disruptive product. Lot of people paying $80 a month to watch only live sports will save a lot of money this way. I have youtube but I piggyback off a friend who hooked me up because I hooked him with some stuff.

I signed up for fubo. 24 hour free trial and will be able to watch the game.
I hated fubo when I had it.

I keep having technical issues and their customer service sucked. They basically said that i was the reason their service wouldn't work as promised.

So what's the consensus - assuming we don't want to go Captain Jack on this shit?

1) Keep YTTV in hopes they cut a deal? (And thereby do without any games on ABC & ESPN for the time being...)
2) Keep YTTV and wait for the $20 credit? (And thereby do without any games on ABC & ESPN. Period)
3) Keep YTTV and use the $20 credit toward a new Hulu monthly account for $19.99 introduction offer? (and then deal with whatever seems best when that runs out - and kicks in to the $89 per month premium)
4) Say screw it and sign up for, and keep, both Hulu and YTTV because I can afford it and don't care about two, similar subscriptions for $89 per month each?
5) Say screw it, I'm going back to my local cable provider?
6) Say screw it, I'm cancelling everything, throwing away all my TV's and start reading books again, and going to the local pub to watch any game I must see... and/or watching the replays and highlights on YouTube the next day on my computer?

I’m going to hold out a little while longer for YouTube TV to be able to get this thing resolved with ESPN. For today’s games, I did the “day pass plus sports xtra package” from SlingTV which gives me all of the ESPN channels including ACC network, SEC network, etc. for $6.

As for number 3, you're actually going to need the $29.99 bundle with ESPN Unlmited to watch the UNC games because they will be on the regular ESPN networks (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ACC Network). The $19.99 one is just for games only on ESPN Select, or what they used to call ESPN+.

Maybe if I hadn't already paid for YTTV this month I would have canceled and went with Hulu Live for the same price until Disney and YTTV reaches an agreement. I was already pissed at Disney for not having the WWE premium events available through the ESPN app for YTTV customers. I really don't want to pay them $30 a month for ESPN or switch to Hulu now after this crap. I am sure they are trying to drive YTTV subscribers to Hulu or the ESPN unlimited bundle, but this might just do the opposite and piss people off with Disney, Hulu and ESPN.

I got YTTV for November regardless - already paid for and the money is gone.
Can I stand the $29 one month deal for HULU for only 5 November games? (Two Nov. games are on FOX, BTW... St Bonny and Izzo St.) Only the Kansas game on Nov. 7 holds a lot of interest... the other games are meh... I could watch them next day on YouTube for free. The Kansas game is on regular ESPN which you can watch for the $19 deal

Both UK and Georgetown games are also on regular ESPN...

Just realized that the games I'm most interested in during the 3:30 window (UGA/UF) and 7/7:30 window (OU/UTjr) are both on ABC, which is the only college football relevant channel that I don't have access to between YouTubeTV and the Sling Orange Weekend Pass :cautious:
