WWE is now covered as a legitimate sport on espn.com. Its aficionados don't care whether it's real or even partially real. It's real to them because it's entertaining. I think that's the perfect analogy to Trump's political analogy.
First it's WWE, the E is for entertainment, so they should know.

But, we are talking about the country that believes reality TV isn't scripted, even after it was revealed to be scripted.

In other news amazon backed down from tariff transparency after trump threw hissy fit at Bezos
The conduct of Musk and Thiel makes sense- they're trying to create a neo feudal state where they're monarchs.

Bezos and Zuckerberg make much less sense. They're on the outside of the tent - what's the point of "fuck you" money if you don't tell "fuck you" to the people who most need to hear it?

They see how oligarchs in Russia can be suddenly penniless or accidently shoved out of windows and are treading carefully.

I’ve always been a little baffled by Zuckerberg’s motivations. He doesn’t seem to know what he wants.

Why is getting criminals off the street a bad thing?
You keep missing the point. I've already explained.

IT IS BECAUSE YOU GET OFF ON OTHER PEOPLE'S SUFFERING.

All of those people were not criminals, like your orange leader told you. Most were probably working hard to better their life.

But, we don't see anything from you about how the republicans have control of both chambers of congress and are doing nothing to actually develop policy to fix the immigration issues. Policy, is something trump doesn't understand. Policy would allow us to maintain the border security while also addressing the humanitarian issues as well as need for labor. But you don't ever talk about that, you just get out the Jergen's and start celebrating the pain and suffering of others.

You are a bad person.

Can you imagine being worth $200 billion and letting anyone steamroll you like that?
Especially an orange turd, who's accomplishments in life are being born on third base and his father having the catcher drug off the field so you can walk home unattested.

Why is putting them in the White House a good thing?
Let me also add. We don't know they are criminals, none of them received due process.

If Trump had the slightest idea how to follow the law or govern—and didn’t walk around acting like some kind of untouchable god—he’d be doing actual policy work, like hiring more people to handle arbitration of border cases. If these people were being properly processed, deposed, and deported because they truly didn’t qualify to be here, I wouldn’t say a damn thing—and neither would you. But that’s not what’s happening. What is happening brings you joy, and that’s pathetic. And frankly, so is the fact that you’re okay with it. You are a sad person.

Of all the things that might have brought about the death of what was once the most respected, envied nation in the world, I would never have guessed "misinformation" making us implode from within. But here we are.
I was listening to an interview with Rory Stewart and he said the same.

He spoke of how Britian based decisions on the stability and backing of the US and how they now cannot.

These are the things that no one is really watching that this administration is fucking up so bad it will take decades to recover.

These fucking idiots are throwing away years of prosperity based on a myth created in trumps weird shaped head.

Even with China, we could have figured out a way to push China on many of the issues without alienating the rest of the world.

“I don’t regret my vote, given the choices,” he [Dane] added. “I do regret current trade policy.”

But the always self-righteous Bret Stephens reminds us,

"Certain readers of this column may be tempted to condemn Dane for caring more about the bottom line than the good of the country, as they see it. That strikes me as morally and politically obtuse."

Nope. We should condemn Dane. He's an idiot.

One of my takeaways from reading that piece is that Dane’s family created the business over 30 years ago. I read that as Dane didn’t create and build the successful business - like Trump, he inherited a successful business. I’m guessing Dane is similar to Trump in thinking he hit a triple when he was born on third.

Idiot indeed. His full quote regarding not regretting his vote for Trump: "Trump, he says, was “better than the Democratic alternative: namely a president, Biden, who was plainly deceiving the country about his mental health, and a complicit-in-the-deception candidate, Harris, who comes from the anti-business progressive wing of California politics that is ruining the state.”

So Kamala represents progressive Democrats who are "ruining" California economically (a state, by the way, that just passed Japan to become the world's fourth-largest economy) but in reality it's Donald J. Trump who is actually ruining his business and pushing him to the brink of possible bankruptcy. Biden was not in good mental health (true), but Trump has been a walking mental vacuum his entire life and during his campaign last year sounded worse and more mentally confused than Biden on a number of occasions. As with so many Trump voters, the Donald J. Trump this guy thinks he supports doesn't actually exist. The line that "he’s offended that the president is making tariff exceptions for big tech companies but not for the smaller American businesses that the administration is supposed to champion" is revealing in that this guy apparently thought that Trump actually gave a shit about smaller businesses like his. The evidence is clear that the only thing Trump has ever cared about is himself and his own business and financial interests. When it comes to Trump people like Dane are deluded, plain and simple.
