lol. What's in the best interest of the public is unbiased reporting. That isn't NPR

"In a recent article published by The Free Press, NPR editor Uri Berliner stated that he found zero Republicans and 87 registered Democrats working in editorial positions at NPR's headquarters in Washington, D.C. The Free Press. This information has been widely cited by other sources. NPR's CEO, Katherine Maher, has acknowledged this finding as concerning."

I'm sure you think NPR is doing a great job.
I'm sure you think that's a reliable source.

Despite the overwhelming evidence on the right, one's political leanings (yeah, convictions sounded wrong in 34 different ways) doesn't have to affect one's honesty.

I do workers' compensation law as part of my practice. Just from what I see personally here in VA, a good percentage of manual laborers (construction work, landscaping, etc.) are Hispanic immigrants willing to do hard work for low wages. I don't think employers are always careful about verifying their immigration status or providing the kind of benefits that local workers would expect. But if they want to avoid problems with the IRS, they withhold taxes, SS and Medicare. I'm sure some pay in cash "under the table" as well, but that is a risky business practice. These workers are among ICE's targets. When they are randomly rounded up and herded away it will have a chilling effect on that business sector. Taking them out of the labor pool is going to drive up labor costs and decrease the tax base. Actions have consequences.

"This information has been widely cited by other sources" And was used in congressional hearings. Please feel free to offer a credible rebutting source.

Any of the people citing it or using it not MAGAts? As I pointed out, only in the twisted world you live in is a political alliance proof of bias. There's no reason to rebut a claim, true or not, relying on a false premise.

If true, that would certainly be a reason to think NPR is not being contaminated by disinformation. Sounds like a good thing to me.

lol at the mention of disinformation especially given how you guys were sucking up all the “Joe is sharp as a tack” lies peddled by your media and politicians. You guys should be ashamed to even use the word but clearly lacking any awareness trumps embarrassment

Looks like it’s on life support but not cancelled. Saw several accounts on X state it’s been cancelled.

I actually like her as she generally has fair takes.
It’s not on life support. It is doing much better than Alex Wagner. Your Twitter buddies are just comparing her to Rachel, and obviously she is not going to match those numbers.

Ok but her ratings are minuscule compared to Fox prime time. Again, I’m not a hater.
All of MSNBC ratings (and CNN for that matter) are pitiful compared to Fox. But almost all primetime news watchers are irrelevant to advertisers. Have you ever noticed how lame the ads are on Fox? Hannity has 3 million viewers, but only 300k of those viewers count to advertisers. And it is even worse on MSNBC and CNN, although the average incomes of the MSNBC/CNN viewers is considerably higher (and hence, they have slightly better ads).

In general, democrats watch less TV and listen to less radio than republicans.

Ah, the old pointing out of the speck while ignoring the log. That’s what a once proud GOP has been reduced to. Pathetic, but we were told 2000 years ago you people would always be around.

Yes, remember when NPR was sued for lying and had to pay out almost a billion dollars?

Yea, me neither.

NPR is far closer to center than any of the conservative news outlets.

I spend a little time driving through WVa every couple months. There are a lot of crap radio stations A real nice thoughtful chain of NPR radio stations. I hope they do not lose that source
