For those hoping to retire in the next decade (based on expected returns of a modest 6% or so), a 30% drop would be devastating.
Thanks, board Trumpers. Appreciate that.

Your chief idiot is probably coming for our social security and Medicare as well. Oh, no, that’s right. I’m the gullible one for believing he’d do exactly as he’s told us.

I moved the bulk of my money out of the US last week in anticipation of the FDIC being take out.
I’ve been exploring moving my money into Canadian banks. I’m a little more sheltered. in etfs, money market mutuals, and a smattering of equities, and only a small percentage in traditional banks. nevertheless, I feel the need to have cash available within a more stable system.

If you decide to, I recommend the Fifty-first State National Bank.

Paine, this is why liberals are so suspicious of the left. We are tired of being blamed for what our political enemies do, just because the leftists did stupid things and are now trying to cover their asses without admitting how stupid and wrong they were.

I understand that doesn't apply to you. But that's the world that has been created. Liberals are happy to have the left as part of our tent, but we're not going to let them run the show because they do things like this. They are irresponsible and refuse to take accountability for their actions. They aren't serious people and liberals prefer to be in a party where the inmates are not running the asylum.
