That would have to be two nations, but the more we see from Trump the more in willing to accept the dissolving of the US. every state becomes a country.
 
I think it's important to distinguish two types of FAFO:

1. People who are getting screwed by things they didn't realize might happen. This is the "don't pay too much attention to politics" crowd. They hit some headlines, vote based on prices, etc. They need to learn to pay better attention, but I think they still deserve empathy and assistance.

2. People who are getting screwed by terrible things they did realize would happen, but thought would only happen to other people. Fuck them.

Nah trump will tell his worshippers that the higher inflation, higher unemployment and higher taxes are fake numbers. Then he will fire all the civil servants in those departments and replace them with loyalists who will tell us that inflation is lower taxes are lower and unemployment is lower and that America is great again.

Sadly, even the so-called librul media - albeit unwittingly - has done almost as much sane-washing as the right-wing media/propaganda networks have. Right wingers bitch, moan, and obsess about the media consumption habits of those outside the cult - mostly because the right wing networks constantly harp on it - but they don't realize just how much help the non right-leaning mainstream media have actually been to Trump.
