Donald Trump supporter and MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell sobbed to a judge that he is “in ruins” and cannot pay a court-ordered $50,000 fine.

Lindell has been ordered to pay voting software company Smartmatic the hefty fine over false claims he made about the company flipping the 2020 election for Joe Biden. It is one of a number of lawsuits Lindell faces over false election claims.

Now the troubled CEO claims that he doesn’t even have 5 cents left to pay the company the $56,396 he owes.

“I borrowed everything I can. Nobody will lend me any money anymore. I can't turn back time... but I will tell you, I don’t have any money,” Lindell, who was described as being “teary” by ABC News, said while appearing via Zoom Wednesday at the hearing in a U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C.

Lindell also claimed he and his company owe more than $70m in back payments to the IRS.



Nicholas ruled that Lindell must prove the claims and gave him until Friday to provide documents.

“I have nothing to hide,” Lindell said.

Lindell is facing lawsuits in D.C. and Minnesota over his false election claims. Dominion Voting Systems is seeking $1.3bn in a defamation lawsuit against him.

So the guy votes for Trump - even though Trump said he was for tariffs - then becomes defensive and whines when he gets slammed by others when Trump actually raises tariffs and his business flounders. This is his self-righteous rebuttal to all of his critics: "...to wish ill on someone and to love the fact that they’re suffering, to love the fact that their family is being negatively affected because I didn’t vote the same way that you did is [messed] up. It really is. It shouldn’t matter.

“Anyone that enters my life, I’m going to judge you of who you are, how you are as a human being. Are you kind? Are you polite, Are you sincere? That’s how I judge you, not who you voted for. I’ve got far left leaning friends. I got far right leaning friends. It doesn’t matter to me. I like you based on who you are. “But to see someone hurt and their business fail and their family be affected because they didn’t vote the way you did, it’s [messed] up. I’m sorry. A lot of you are [messed] up. I’m sorry. We should all care about each other regardless of who we voted for. I’m sorry. I hope you guys can be better people.”

So this dude calls his critics messed up for criticizing him and claims that he judges people on whether they are kind, polite, sincere, etc., yet he deliberately voted for a guy for president (probably all three times) who is the exact opposite of all the qualities he claims to judge people by. And he voted for a guy who clearly and blatantly cares about no one except himself, and it's clear that Trumpers don't care at all about the well-being of liberals. It's also obvious that he likely loved Trump being a bully and jerk to people and groups he didn't like, and that he loved Trump cutting other people's jobs and messing up their lives. He just never thought Trump or Republicans would ever hurt people like him, and so now he wants sympathy. If his business was still doing well he'd likely still be loving all this misery and pain that Dear Leader is causing others, no matter how much he claims to care about others and the qualities he claims to judge people by.

I'd ask this guy about the people sent to be tortured. Is it OK not only to wish ill on someone but to actually torture them just because they fled to the US to seek refuge from gangs? I'll stop wishing ill on MAGA when they stop doing evil things.

Mississippi Schools Reeling as Trump Admin Revokes $137 Million

Mississippi education leaders were left reeling after the Trump administration rescinded $137 million in COVID-19 relief funds from schools.

Mississippi’s private and public schools could lose more than $137 million after the U.S. Department of Education decided to rescind remaining COVID-19 relief funds. The federal government awarded the funds amid the pandemic to help states and school districts address issues arising from the crisis, but until this month had said it would allow states an extension to finish using the money.

The decision has left Mississippi education leaders reeling and school administrators scrambling to figure out how to proceed, with some schools potentially left holding the bag for work that is in progress and that depended on the funds for payment.

“This is the equivalent of you going to a lender and them granting you a half million dollar builders loan (but) you get $300,000 into it and (they) say, ‘Oh yeah, we’re only gonna give you $300,000,” Mississippi State Superintendent Dr. Lance Evans, who is trying to get the decision reversed, said during the Mississippi Board of Education meeting on Thursday. “Literally, that’s what it equates to.”

Schools are now wondering if they need to make immediate changes as they await updates.

The $7.9 billion in investments withdrawn since January are more than three times the total investments cancelled over the previous 30 months, according to nonpartisan policy group E2’s latest Clean Economy Works monthly update.

It tickles me when people dumb enough to vote for Trump later try to explain stuff to the rest of us.
Yeah, we know. You don’t have to explain anything to us. We have been telling you this for a long time now.
