Not only that, he had to pull strings and call in personal favors through his family to get in. This is the same guy who wanted to get in USC, who was taking close to 70% of applicant at the time, was a rich white male and still couldn't get in.

Otoh, since I worship at the altar of truth, can you explain why he had his lawyers threaten to sue any school or testing agency that revealed any of his grades or scores? That doesn't seem like the typical self aggrandizing behavior of a raving egomaniac like Trump unless they were so pitiful not even he could pretend about them.

He didn’t get into the business school and got an economics degree.
What do you think his economics professors at Penn teach their classes about tariffs? Or trade deficits? Or the relative strength of the dollar against other currencies? Or free markets and trade?
Is having a degree worth anything if you didn’t learn anything?
 
I admit the tariff issue is messy and causing a bit of chaos, BUT the process is starting to work. China has hinted its willingness to negotiate, and thus, the markets are surging today. The GOLDEN AGE is beginning!

Can you paint a picture of what the Golden Age will look like so we know whether or not it has arrived?

Will household income go up and if so by how much? Will retail prices come down and if so by how much? Will GDP grow and if so by how much? Will unemployment drop and if so by how much?

Just trying to put down some objective markers so you can throw it in all of our faces when we hit them.
 
Someone claiming to be a UNC grad with a law degree and demonstrating profoundly poor understanding of law and basic economics is pitiable. What’s more pitiable is to troll, if those credentials are real. What’s yet more pitiable is to have those credentials and buy into maga and North Korean level propaganda, like “Golden Age”. Whatever the explanation , pitiable. Good Germans and goosestepppers unite!

No, Trump has signaled that he is willing to call the whole thing off as long as they both agree to claim they made a deal so the MAGAs can cheer their dear leader for “fixing” things, when all he did was stop doing what everyone told him not to do in the first place.

Trump is a nepo baby whose had everything handed to him without merit (thought you guys required merit in everything) and has still managed to fail in so many ways.

Bit of an overstatement don't you think CatTech? Trump could have just lived off his inheritance as a trust fund baby.
Instead, he did build numerous businesses on his own and managed to get elected President of the United States on, at least, two occasions.

You mean they're willing to negotiate by reducing their responsive tariffs if we drop our tariffs, which will put us back in roughly the same position, maybe a little worse, than we were before your guy started this stupid trade war? That's what "working" looks like to you?

I’m not aiming this at Ramrouser, but as a lawyer who practices in NC, I know a lot of UNC grads with law degrees, and while most are quite smart, there are also some who are absolute morons. I wouldn’t let them represent me pro bono on a seatbelt violation ticket.
