If I had Buttigeg's resume...Yep. Sad indeed. Either would make an excellent President
It is so sad that in this country a man with that resume is looked upon negatively because of who he loves.

While so many avowed Christians voted for trump and are in favor of project 2025.The biggest political handicap is being an avowed atheist, which is why those people say they are Christian and hold the bible upside down.
He’s an idiot slacker …and I don’t care who he sleeps with. Run him.If I had Buttigeg's resume...

Wow, this is a slacker:He’s an idiot slacker …and I don’t care who he sleeps with. Run him.
You may not care who he sleeps with but 75% of your cult is homophobic and they really care. They probably care the same way those pedophile Catholic priest cared and the way Mark Robinson cares. He’s an idiot slacker …and I don’t care who he sleeps with. Run him.
Sad but true. Most democracies have already elected at least one woman as leader - the UK did it over 45 years ago - yet too many Americans (including many women) have an absolute fear and aversion to electing a woman as president. And much of that prejudice probably comes from what they were taught as kids in conservative churches. I've heard Baptist women tell me that the post of minister was "reserved" for men by god, and they actually prefer it that way. I suspect the same mindset extends to voting for president. I do think we'll someday elect a woman, but it's still going to be awhile, I'm afraid.I honestly think America is more “ready” for a male Jewish president than it is for a woman of any background.
Only 75%?You may not care who he sleeps with but 75% of your cult is homophobic and they really care. They probably care the same way those pedophile Catholic priest cared and the way Mark Robinson cares.
Unfortunately, the first female POTUS will be right-wing as hell.Sad but true. If NC can have a Jewish governor, I don’t see any reason why we can’t have a Jewish president.I honestly think America is more “ready” for a male Jewish president than it is for a woman of any background.
Running against Mark Robinson helped enormously. If NC can have a Jewish governor, I don’t see any reason why we can’t have a Jewish president.
... Really?Running against Mark Robinson helped enormously.
How many North Carolinians knew Josh Stein was Jewish?
Maybe. She'll have to win the GOP nomination first, and as Nikki Haley has discovered most Republican primary voters aren't likely to vote for a woman to be the GOP nominee for president. Conservatives in other countries seemed more willing to choose a woman as their party's nominee, Republicans not so much. I sometimes wonder if the first female US President will be a vice president who takes over when the POTUS dies or has to resign for some reason, not someone who is actually elected POTUS on their own.Unfortunately, the first female POTUS will be right-wing as hell.
Yeah. With a last name like Stein I’m guessing it was around 95% knew or assumed he was Jewish.... Really?
A lot easier to elect a woman in a parliamentary system without direct elections for prime minister. We likely would have already had a female leader if we had a parliament.Sad but true. Do you get joy out of being an absolute asshole? Put your resume and grades up against his and let’s see who the idiot slacker is.He’s an idiot slacker …and I don’t care who he sleeps with. Run him.
Yes. Really.... Really?
She ran against Trump in the Trumplican Party.Maybe. My aunt said she couldn't vote for Hillary because she stood next to Bill after he admitted the Lewinsky stuff. She had no problem voting for Trump three times though despite Stormy Daniels and everything else....Sad but true. Yeah, the bar for democrats is always high. For republicans, it's on the ground. My aunt said she couldn't vote for Hillary because she stood next to Bill after he admitted the Lewinsky stuff. She had no problem voting for Trump three times though despite Stormy Daniels and everything else....
