Fiscal conservative ,Social Progressive..

Fiscal conservatism means different things to different people. There's a spectrum but the concept of fiscal conservatism while being socially progressive is often what draws people to the Libertarian party. At least it did for me... along with the realization that neither D or R care about being fiscally responsible.

When you can mobilize a grassroots movement that shows you actually can get people elected and grow, get back in touch. Aren't Libertarians basically barely treading water? Concrete policies instead of a choose one from column A and one from column B would also help. The topic titles are interesting but what do they mean?

Not to mention how incorrect that graphic is, in general.
 
I've seen a ton of people describe themselves as fiscally conservative and socially liberal over the years. I've never seen the social side win against the fiscal side with them.

I think a lot of times it's a way of trying to not have to take the blame for the crummy social actions of Republicans despite voting for those very same Republicans.

In fact, it seems to have been the pre-2016 precursor to "I don't support Trump, but...".
