I have to admit that I'm sorta impressed that all of them can get through that segment without succumbing to terminal embarrassment.

I predict it will be a disaster if we run Gavin Newsom and I’m prefectly fine never finding out because we come to our senses and don’t nominate him. I have zero interest in finding out whether I am wrong by way of a real-life experiment.Except it’s never that simple is it? The Republicans ran a convicted felon, one-term President who had the most disgraceful exit in political history, and somehow won back the White House with him anyway.
Never, ever try to read the minds of the voters in this country three years out and think you can predict what they’ll do.
I am going to vote for the antifa candidate, regardless of who it is. I would take Newsom over every name you listed, though. He's been the only Democrat being the aggressor. America desperately needs the democratic party to grow a spine and since Obama can't run again, I will gladly support someone filling that role.I predict it will be a disaster if we run Gavin Newsom and I’m prefectly fine never finding out because we come to our senses and don’t nominate him. Yea I see your pointsI predict it will be a disaster if we run Gavin Newsom and I’m prefectly fine never finding out because we come to our senses and don’t nominate him. I have zero interest in finding out whether I am wrong by way of a real-life experiment.
I was adamant about not running Kamala when most on the board said we had to due to the perceptions or because it would free up $250 million. Having someone so closely tied to Biden was a huge anchor last November. And having someone tied to California will be huge disaster in 2028.
This has nothing to do with who I would personally prefer to be president. If we could just appoint a prime minister, like in a parliamentary system, I’d feel completely different.I am going to vote for the antifa candidate, regardless of who it is. We get it you don't like Newsom but at this point he is the only Democrat showing backbone and finally fighting Trump with fire. It's interesting, I think some don't like him because he is a straight, white man. If so, I think that is silly. Pritzker and Hochul are also fighting back to a lesser extent.I predict it will be a disaster if we run Gavin Newsom and I’m prefectly fine never finding out because we come to our senses and don’t nominate him. Part of the reason I dislike Newsom is that he is a phony. But at least half of my political dislike of him is that he is a real risk to win the democratic nomination and lose the general election. Anything I can do to spread the gospel against Newsom is a political positive. We get it you don't like Newsom but at this point he is the only Democrat showing backbone and finally fighting Trump with fire. So J.D. goes the way of Dan Quayle and Mike Pence... Republican VP's who don't even get a chance at the Party's nomination?Yea I see your points
I guess the likely Pub candidate will be important
If some present Taker State Pub Gov is the nominee -I love Newsome's message on a welfare State Gov versus Calis 80 Billion a year net comtribition to the USA
I think Republican governor from the South or Midwest would be the most likely candidate. So J.D. goes the way of Dan Quayle and Mike Pence... Republican VP's who don't even get a chance at the Party's nomination?
If Trump doesn't finagle a way to run for a third term, Vance will be the GOP heir apparent. If not him, who? Don Jr.? Stephen Miller? Little Marco? A Taker State Pub Gov?
You may be fighting an uphill battle. You'll have to declare allegiance to somebody else - and not a list of 3,000,000 Southern or Midwestern white, hetero, Christian boys. And certainly not a list of names which includes Fetterman.Part of the reason I dislike Newsom is that he is a phony. But at least half of my political dislike of him is that he is a real risk to win the democratic nomination and lose the general election. Anything I can do to spread the gospel against Newsom is a political positive.
I know Fetterman is really hated on this board and rightfully so. He really seems like he would be a hit with Joe and Eileen Bailey - ie a Republican.
So a Taker State Gov gets the nod over JD.I think Republican governor from the South or Midwest would be the most likely candidate.
I think we're done here. Fetterman > Newsom. Look out GOP, here come the Dems!I know Fetterman is really hated on this board and rightfully so. He really seems like he would be a hit with Joe and Eileen Bailey - ie a Republican.
But strategically, he would be a reaonable candidate for Democrats. On the downside, he has significant physical and mental health questions and he would not generate any excitement from the base. But Biden 2020 did not generate any excitement from the base and also had health questions. Yet he won fairly comfortably.
At some point this board needs to accept that there is very little overlap with the candidates it likes and the candidates that are electable.
That describes an awful lot of elections in our history. So a Taker State Gov gets the nod over JD.
OK. I'm cool with that.
Trump fatigue will be a real doozy and JD can't over come it. Makes sense.
So you're predicting an all South and/or Midwest showdown: A young, white, Christian, straight guy on the Dems ticket vs. a GOP Gov from a taker state. An old, white, "Christian" pedophile.
Fetterman is a 10x better candidate than Newsom.I think we're done here. Fetterman > Newsom. Look out GOP, here come the Dems!
Fetterman is brain damaged basically That is mean crap to say-but it's realFetterman is a 10x better candidate than Newsom.
If Newsom runs, they will pound that he is anti-religious and cite his restrictions on churches during Covid. There is just so much negative material out there on Newsom. Republicans would vastly prefer to run against Newsom than Fetterman.
Trump is brain damaged and was elected twice. Brain damage is not that big of a deal in today’s political environment. Closing churches during Covid is a much bigger issue.Fetterman is brain damaged basically That is mean crap to say-but it's real

Well there is that for sureTrump is brain damaged and was elected twice. Brain damage is not that big of a deal in today’s political environment.
Dude....Fetterman isn't a better candidate than anyone. Literally anyone. Tulsi Gabbard as the democratic candidate would be better than Fetterman. Yeah, Trump is batshit crazy but winning the Republican base is very different from winning the Democratic base. Fetterman doesn't appeal to anyone. He's not pragmatic. He's not liberal. He's not conservative. He's just loony and he lacks any charisma. What exactly would be his appeal? That he dresses like Joe Rogan?Fetterman is a 10x better candidate than Newsom.
