Giuliani in serious car wreck, weird circumstances

Sorry to disappoint several of you.

Teen driver in Rudy Giuliani car crash identified after former NYC mayor seriously injured

Lauren Kemp, 19, of Concord, was driving a Honda HR-V on Interstate 93 southbound in Manchester when she rear-ended a rented Ford Bronco being driven by Guiliani’s spokesperson Ted Goodman, according to New Hampshire State Police.

The collision sent both vehicles into the median, leaving them “heavily damaged,” police said. Troopers and firefighters, already on the scene for a separate domestic violence incident across the interstate, witnessed the crash and rendered aid.

Who would be disappointed? The initial statement by the security guy was odd and seemed to suggest that rendering aid to a domestic violence victim was related, which seemed weird. Rudy’s fall from America’s Mayor to here may be self-imposed but it remains a stunning fall and at his age this kind of wreck has to undermine his remaining quality of life, which is terrible for him as a human being, regardless of his descent into alcoholism and frankly repulsive behavior.

I wonder if the wreck had anything to do with the domestic violence matter? Maybe the real issue is they did in fact stop to render aid but may be at fault for the wreck due to a poor u-turn through the median or something? Time may tell.

In the meantime, I don’t wish suffering on Rudy no matter how much I learned to dislike when he was mayor of NYC when I lived there.

The behavior by Trump and the White House may be intended to drive a stupid frenzy over nothing (in which case, job well done) but otherwise it is just strangely amateurish.

No, I didn't think anyone was wishing harm on Rudy... At least not publicly. There were some that were trying to paint some kind of elaborate story regarding his involvement in the domestic violence and whether or not the car accident was linked to that.

That statement feels unnecessarily aggressive.
Story sounds
But did he actually pay?

Because we might have stumbled onto a clue if he's been remiss in making payment.
there is clearly some BS. THAT dude was driving a rental car saw women in distress, pulled over to help her and then randomly someone else runs into the back of him.

I’m not even sure he should be

well, he’s a liar and a bullshit artist who stages things… I admit that we didn’t know the story, but I still would not be surprised if there’s not some sort of bullshit going on here.

Maybe these two random things happened, but the source has to be considered.

I mean, to me, the first message from his security guy invited speculation that the domestic violence thing and the wreck were somehow related, though that post certainly didn't imply that Giuliani was anything other than a bystander / Good Samaritan in the apparent domestic violence matter.

What kind of "assistance" could Rudy Giuliani offer to a "domestic violence victim"? On the highway? Nothing about the story makes any sense at all. And with Trump and Trumpers, usually when they boast their chests about shit like this, the story isn't at all as they presented. Basically, this feels like Rudy trying to get out front of news that will come out later.

My mostly uninformed speculation (based solely on the weirdness of the initial social media announcement and limited subsequent details since then) at the moment is that the domestic violence thing happened, police involvement backed up traffic and Giuliani’s driver did an illegal turn in the median of the interstate to get out of the back-up, resulting in the collision. Maybe his vehicle stopped to call 911 or maybe they inquired of the officers on scene what the issue was. That should be a detail that can eventually be ascertained.

But maybe they were just being good Samaritans and for some reason were already traveling back in the opposite direction on the other side of the median while police were clearing up the matter and so still there to witness the crash, which was as claimed entirely the fault of the 19-year-old driver.

So they don't think it was a targeted attack, but they spend the entire first paragraph of the press release telling an unrelated story of how he helped a DV victim?

Rudy’s security guy complaining about people

Unless he’s receiving it for providing the greatest comedic moment in US history at the Four seasons Total Landscaping, it’s a travesty

I'm close to that. Based on reports woman flagged down a car that happened to be a former federal prosecutor and mayor as well as his bodyguard/assistant. Giuliani and his security call 911 and wait with the lady until the police show up. When the police get there, they leave.

Immediately Giuliani's car is rear-ended or at least immediately enough that the police nearby know it happened. To me the scenario is that Giuliani or his driver pulled pulled into traffic in an unsafe manner or the illegal you-turn you mentioned. I think its also possible that a young driver plowed into the car while they were at a stop sign a few 100 yards away.

A stop sign on the interstate?

It was around 10pm. Rudy’s driver may not have had the lights on as they got back in the road. Automatic headlights/DRLs can give drivers the sense that the lights are on, but side marker and taillights are completely dark. If they had just re-entered the lane from the shoulder or after a U-turn, they could have been going well below the speed limit. An unlit car driving 40 on the interstate is not something most 19 year olds will be used to encountering.

I really don’t give a shit about this situation aside from two things:
  • Is the woman involved in the domestic violence event okay and safe?
  • Is the 19 year-old young woman involved in the collision okay?
Rudy? Anyone willing to be in Rudy’s employment?

***I don’t give a fuck. This pig and his sycophants have fucked over thousands of people.

***I’m not talking about caterers or parking valets; I’m talking about his publicists and “drivers” and “security” people.
