He may be a lover but he ain't no dancer...I never pictured Lady G as a dancer.
The Trump Administration EXPECTED Trump to deliver scathing and biting comments about the media……they expected Trump to “kill it.”Feeding children?
Preventing children from being shot?
Preventing children from being raped? Epstein?
Health Insurance for millions?
$$ wasted on Idiot War?
I preferred the Capitol Hilton over the Washington Hilton when in DC. Wash. Hilton was kind of a dump, but they had the cavern ballroom.
POTUS was not in any danger, but it was pretty stupid to bring much of the cabinet. That's unusual. But then Trump is pretty stupid.
There is zero chance of that outcome. Either nothing will be passed or it will be passed as carte Blanche for Trump to do whatever he wants through simple majority reconciliation votes. There will be no rational controls. That is what should have happened at the very beginning, but Trump is allergic to having to get Congress' approval for anything. He wants to be a king who can build anything he feels like. He doesn't want to be told what he can do or how he can do it.
So what should happen is a law is passed to build a smaller ballroom that fits in with the design of the white house and Trump can't change the design without approval from Congress.
Which is precisely what Trump said wouldn't happen and his supporters, including some on this very thread, said wouldn't happen. Just another broken promise out of a million or so at this point. And yet his defenders will continue to excuse what he's doing. So, paid for with public money.
It could be held there, but the invite list would be a lot more selective. And yet in another thread it's shown that the new WH ballroom will seat only about 650 people, while the annual WH Correspondent's dinner this year had over 2600 guests, so the dinner could never be held in the new ballroom. Just another lie from an administration that lies as easily as other people breathe.
How could the private association, the WHCorrespondents Association, reserve the White House for a public event? It could be held there, but the invite list would be a lot more selective.
