B. Im adamantly opposed to biological men playing female sports. Putting someone at a competitive disadvantage just so we can be woke and not offend another isnt the solution. That said, I would have no issue with spending the resources to create ways trans people can play competitive sports. I would be opposed to excluding them from that opportunity.

And how do we do this when in most states there are not enough trans athletes to even form a team?

The governor of Utah was right when he said that the government shouldn't be spending time and effort on a bill to discriminate against 4 people, when there was real work that needed to be done.

And he's a republican.

If that isn’t possible due to not enough, then compete in men’s sports.

Imagine being conned year in and year out to support the consolidation of wealth and power in the hands of a few powerful billionaires, because of gay marriage, trans sports and all the other shit the GOP has used for a generation to distract from their looting of America.

If southern white people ain't hating, they ain't living.

I listened to this book while walking on Audible:
Abundance: How We Can Build a Better Future (released in March 2025 by Ezra Klein and Derek Thompson) argues that high housing costs and homelessness are primarily caused by artificial scarcity driven by restrictive zoning regulations. The book posits that homelessness is a supply-side problem, where cities with low vacancy rates see higher rates of homelessness, regardless of local poverty or unemployment.
Their point was that there used to be “boarding houses“ and such. It wasn’t democrats or republicans it was NIMBYism. Zoning and “city/urban planning” have screwed the less affluent. It’s why Texas is doing better with housing affordability than California. Really a great overall view of what we could do versus what we are doing.

That was a good exchange (y)

Following up on C.

Are you concerned that Trump tore up the JPOA which has led to Iran increasing its enriched uranium from 3.67% purity to over 60%
No. IMO it was the right thing to do. The entire thing was based on trusting Iran. When has Iran ever been trust worthy? 24 day notice before inspection can occur and not allowing access to all areas = no credible inspection oversight. Again, trusting they are telling the truth and trusting they aren’t hiding material from inspectors. Why require 24 days before you allow inspectors in and why limit what they can inspect if you aren’t hiding anything? It also gave Iran a future US green light to enrichment with no consequences. It was a short term solution with glaring holes in it. They have to be permanently denied nuke access.

I think we would be in the same situation even with the Jpoa because Israel was adamantly opposed to it and was never going to allow Iran to get there based on its intel about how close Iran was.

That disrespect is fake. The numbers just do not support it.

Most of the concerns people raise about bathrooms are already covered by existing laws. If a man goes into a women’s restroom and touches, harms, harasses, or sexually assaults someone, that is already illegal.

The laws that specifically target trans or LGBTQ people only open the door to blatant bigotry. I have read more stories about cisgender women being harassed because they did not “look” female enough, or about men pretending to be trans as some kind of political stunt, than I have about trans people actually harming anyone. Yet trans people are the ones who get stigmatized.

And there is no logical way to enforce these unnecessary laws without violating people’s privacy or encouraging harassment. It is much more reasonable to enforce laws against harassment, assault, and sexual assault.

Well, unless you are a rich white boy at Stanford. Then apparently you get off with a slap on the wrist.

So, while the first two sentences sound great, the follow up make me believe you do not really believe the first two sentences or you would have stopped there.

If 1 in 10 million people play in sports leagues with women, when they were born a biological male, that's not changing social order. It's an outlier and no where near the position the mama crowd claims it to be.
And it places every girl that has to compete against a biological male at a disadvantage so you are discriminating against 100 to placate 1. Biological males should compete against other biological males. Really not hard to grasp

The Republican Party is rife with antisemites. My go

I just want to address D and E here. Parts of the left? There are major antisemitic members of Trump's own administration. Such as those in this article: https://www.npr.org/2025/05/14/nx-s1-5387299/trump-white-house-antisemitism

Kash Patel has appeared multiple times on a podcast hosted by an Holocaust denier.
Further, there is the use of Nazi style propaganda.

Just a quick AI search from Gemini shows a number of Trump officials with links to antisemitism and neo Nazi groups.

If you are going to criticize "parts of the left" for being antisemitic, then criticize this administration for being such.
It’s reasonable to argue the individuals in the trump administration, while individually anti-Semitic, aren’t influencing the direction of the administration. Maybe Patell is, but the administration certainly isnt and will follow the direction trump decides. I’m not disputing your claim of individually anti-Semitic people on the right, but the face of anti-semitisim and the loudest rhetoric is coming from the radical left. This it has to overcome that “label” in elections. I don’t equate criticism of Israel as being anti-Semitic, but many do.

It's truly an epidemic. It's out of control. It's LITERALLY happening EVERYWHERE! It's easily one of our nation's greatest problems.

serious breaking bad GIF

We are not talking about elections; we’re talking about actual people Trump appointed. That you dismiss that says a lot about your partisan viewpoint.

That isn’t true.

The only way that statement works is if every female athlete is inferior to every male athlete, and that is obviously not true. Yes, there are average physical differences between males and females in many sports, especially after puberty, but “average advantage” is not the same thing as “every male is automatically better than every female.”

If that were true, then males would always finish ahead of females in every mixed competition, at every level, in every sport. They do not. Talent, training, age, size, skill, conditioning, coaching, access to resources, and the specific sport all matter.

This is why blanket statements are so weak. The data supports the idea that male and female categories exist because there are measurable average performance differences at elite levels, but it does not support the lazy claim that every male has an automatic advantage over every female in every situation. Reviews of sports performance generally find sex-based performance gaps after puberty, but the size of that gap varies significantly by sport and event.

And this conversation gets even more complicated when you include intersex athletes. Intersex people are born with sex characteristics — chromosomes, hormones, reproductive anatomy, or other traits — that do not fit neatly into typical male/female categories. So where exactly do they compete under your rigid view of sex and sports?

This is why the issue deserves more honesty and less political outrage. We can have serious conversations about fairness, safety, competitive categories, and sport-specific rules without pretending biology is simple or using “protect women” as a cover for treating some people as if they do not belong anywhere.

Even Utah Governor Spencer Cox, when vetoing a transgender sports ban, pointed out that the issue was being blown wildly out of proportion in his state: out of 75,000 high school athletes, there were four transgender students playing sports, and only one playing girls’ sports. His point was not that fairness does not matter. His point was that fear and anger were being aimed at a tiny number of kids.

So no, saying “every male has an advantage over every female” is not a serious argument. It is an oversimplification. Women are not automatically beneath men, and protecting women’s sports should not require pretending they are.

It has been explained to you many times that your claims about that agreement are straight up false.

The reason that they want to require 24 days before inspectors enter is the same fucking reason the US would expect at a minimum 24 days (though in reality we would not accept it at all). Iran has sovereign interests. They have legitimate state secrets. They have expectations that business can be performed on an orderly basis. You're not even trying to consider Iran's point of view. Well, guess what -- that's what diplomacy demands.

Diplomacy has always been the way the US -- and any country -- accomplishes foreign policy goals. Indeed, I can't think of a single country that has achieved a foreign policy interest through military action absent diplomacy. But I can think of many that tried. The Nazis, the Soviet Union, the Vietnam War, etc. etc.

The idea that we have the right to permanently deny nuke access is mind boggling, especially considering our many, many, many violations of international law and our own treaty obligations.

You, in particular, favor US lawless actions. You want the US to abandon the Geneva Convention in many ways. So you want the rest of the world to obey our sense of law while refusing to follow that law ourselves. That is not a recipe for success. That's what empires do as they crumble. Or try to do.

I am trying to figure out when exactly MAGA decided that Israel can establish US foreign policy. I thought you guys were America First. If the concern was Israel blowing up our diplomatic agreement, the solution is to stop Israel, not to reverse our agreement because Israel don't like it.

I just find it mind-boggling that people like you are so eager to kiss ass that you weren't satisfied with kissing Trump's gigantic ass. You have to kiss Bibi's ass too. Or rather lick his whole asshole. And then you call other people "betas." GTFOH

Where did I deny it or dismiss it
You wrote: “It’s reasonable to argue the individuals in the trump administration, while individually anti-Semitic, aren’t influencing the direction of the administration.”

That reads dismissive to me. The admin, including Trump, appointed antisemites to positions of authority. To claim they aren’t influencing the administration is being dismissive.

Imagine worrying about this conservative media manufactured issue while ignoring the litany of corruption happening in plain sight. Slanted media is rotting our country from the inside out.

That’s MAGA in a nutshell.

They take the rage bait every time, often without understanding the actual numbers behind the issue. Trump and his allies keep feeding them these stories because outrage is useful. It keeps people distracted, angry, and focused on manufactured enemies instead of asking harder questions about what is actually happening to the country.

No it isn’t. The trump administration has been incredibly supportive of Israel despite any individual’s personal views on Israel. Trump is very pro Israel. It sounds like you are saying that just because trump appointed someone to a post that is personally anti-Semitic (your claim) that that means the administration is therefore anti-Semitic.
