It's about people not being ok with men punching women in the face in the Olympics. It's about parents not wanting their daughters competing against males who have a clear strength, speed and athletic advantage.
And this bullshit.

There's what, one?, actually occurrence?

The percentage of trans women in women's sports is 0.0000001%.

That's really something to worry about.

The problem is these idiots don't understand actual data on demographics and large numbers.

Just look at the other post where people were polled, and they seemed to believe that trans people were over 20% of the population.

More ignorance to support their fear.

If every single trans woman wanted to play sports, there wouldn't be enough to form their own team or league.

No it hasn't been debunked.

I have plenty of respect for the opinions and rights of cis women. I don't have respect for bullshit. The fact that you have no argument and have been resorting to grievance-whining is telling.

Zen is about intuition, meditation and acceptance. Me thinks you need to focus more on meditation and acceptance ZMode and STFU with your intuition.

I understand the paperwork aspect, but the DSD diagnosis means there is more going on there than just what is said on paperwork. We don't have any medical support either way.

At the very least there is ambiguity in her gender and the people that were under the impression that she was a male were not okay with what they perceived was happening. Mature males vs mature females, at most any level of sports, isn't going to be a fair fight.

"I have plenty of respect for the opinions and rights of cis women."

Well, let me know when you express any of it.

No you don't. The trans population is approx. .25%. The women in this country who oppose penises in women's bathrooms is millions more. If you respected the opinions and rights of cis women you wouldn't dismiss it and call it bullshit. Your ethics are purely situational. Own it.

Well, for one thing, I've never met a cis woman who thinks she needs bathroom protection. Every cis woman I know is supportive of trans identity. Not every cis woman in the country, yes, but a majority do not think like you do.

How could we express it where you would see it?

Should I say: "Cis women, I hear you. But there is no support to the fear that you have caused by the right's political agenda to keep you scared to go into restrooms and locker rooms" ?

.25% therefore this fear that a trans woman is in the restroom is almost impossible.

How many millions and millions of cis women go to the restroom or locker room each day and do not verify that no one has a penis?

99% of them go without concern. Only the Nancy Mace's of the world keep it stirred up.

So now it’s about majorities?

Not sure what you mean, but I'm planning on this being my last post. What I'm saying is largely falling on deaf ears.

"But there is no support to the fear...."

It's not just about fear of sexual assault. It's also not just about restrooms. It's about males in girl's/women's sports. It's about males in girl's/women's locker rooms and showers.

The only concern that is acknowledged here is concern about the feelings of trans men and women and THEIR feelings and THEIR comfort. The feelings of cis women are swept aside. In fact they are ridiculed for even having them. As I noted on my second post:

I've seen posters imply that women who don't want men in their restroom are prudes or are lying. I've seen posters expressing obvious contempt for females who don't want to compete against men in sports. I've seen the idea of using the restroom that aligns with your biological gender as obsessing over genitals or is the result of transphobia.

You have now added an additional layer justification for disregarding the comfort and feelings of cis women: (summarizing) "You don't really feel the way you feel. You're just being brainwashed by the political right."

The views of most every poster in this thread are that trans people are uncomfortable being in the restroom/locker room/shower that doesn't align with their "gender" and that uncomfortableness is a feeling that should be addressed by allowing them to go into the restroom/locker room/shower that makes them feel comfortable.

Well, if trans people have feelings of uncomfortableness about being in areas that don't align with their gender, why wouldn't cis women have equal and opposite feelings and uncomfortableness at the prospect of having people of the wrong sex in their areas?

No, it is not. We hear you, we simply disagree.

You keep claiming that the 99.9% are scared of the .1%, but you provide no data supporting why they should be scared. Then when we point out that the right is blowing this out of proportion, you simply say we are not listening. AGAIN.

Are you really making this comparison?

Trans women and women that don't fit feminine norms are persecuted every day, not just in bathrooms. The men are mostly the issue in both cases.

Provide examples of CIS women that fit feminine norms in appearance being harassed by bro culture, see how that compares to trans women.

I also mention women that don't fit feminine norms, because I've seen occurrences of biological women being harassed in bathrooms and other places because they "MIGHT" be trans.

The whole thing is nothing more than fear giving people a license to harass people for no damn reason. Just go to the bathroom, go in the stall, alone, and do your business. Stop worrying about the person in the stall next to you.

Question for @ZenMode, do you honestly look at every other person in a public restroom and wonder what's between their legs? Do the women you know go into the restroom and interrogate each person in there about what's between their legs?

Do you know anyone that's knowingly been in the restroom with a trans person?

Having never been in a women’s locker room myself, do women really walk around naked in front of each other? I assume not but maybe I’m naive. Zen, you have any experience with this?

Dude, he said that was going to be his last post on this thread. Why are you goading him to continue posting his nonsense?
