It really is sad that the main focus— and what currently seems like the sole focus of present-day Republican politics is targeting hatred and vitriol toward vulnerable groups of people: poor, non-white immigrants and trans people. This seems to be what the Trump campaign has reduced itself to.

Man, if ttump wins there are going to be some non-white manosphere bros that face some ugly, ugly realities. The definition of "He's not talking about me. He's talking about the people I hate."

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

If we let ourselves be "conquered" by unorganized migrants, mostly women and children, who broadcast their entry points and make no attempt to hide their movements, then we don't deserve to be liberated. We should apologize to the French, though, for our condescending attitude.

This kind of rhetoric was the same kind that was used in the X Men comics and movies regarding mutants.

The only difference is these are real people that don’t have superpowers to defend themselves from an angry administration that intends to do them harm.
As an aside, that is one of the reasons I love watch those movies and shows with our kids. It's a great lesson about meaningless discrimination afraid and hateful people promote based on their own insecurities.
