I mean it’s pretty bad-ass if what is reported is true. He isn't even president yet and trudeau is flying to florida unannounced to address the tariff comments.
Was Melania there?

Probably has more to do with the current condition of Canada's economy than really caring about the tariffs.

If Canada's economy was in a strong position the conversation is probably different.

Sure, let's have a state that's larger in area than the rest of the country combined. I am so sick of that fucking man.
It was a joke! He was laughing the entire time. Goodness, some folks are wound up to tight.

Trump has been invited by the president of France for the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral. Not Biden but Trump. Canada PM visits Trump at his home. We have no president right now until January 20.
The world has moved on from Biden. Trump is now the acting president according to other world leaders.

“Acting President” lol. Will he be reversing Hunter’s pardon or appointing judges?

That's a ceremonial role. The King of England is going to be there. Biden has been too busy attending summits, doing diplomacy, working on the Middle East and other actual business to fly off to open a cathedral.

If you think that Trudeau is talking to Trump out of respect, I have a bridge to sell you.

And it's you think Jesse Waters was being serious I have a hotel I want to sell you.

Yeah, I’m keeping score as well.
So far Trump’s actions have caused interest rates for homeowners to increase dramatically. So, making costs rise, which is the exact opposite of what he ran on.
So, not good so far.
Everything you mention is window dressing and hasn’t produced any positive changes yet that have any effect on the American people.
Trump doesn’t get points for stuff you imagine will happen in the future.

Yeah I get ya. Kinda like the prices at the grocery store under Biden where instead of just homeowners that happened to have a variable rate and no renters it affected every single person in the country.
And it wasn't window dressing here. It actually happened.

Yeah, and how the economy was in the shitter when Trump left office and it is doing very well now.
That actually happened.
(And I’m not talking about variable rates, btw. This affects new homeowners and people wanting to refinance).

So, back to point: Trump’s actions so far have only resulted in negatives for the American people. Maybe that will change, but you’ll have to wait until then to claim any sort positive outcomes from his tariffs talk. Having a conversation with world leaders isn’t an accomplishment.

Yeah, COVID, a world pandemic kinda had a little to do with that but of course you know this...
It is more of a slap in Biden's face.
How about Biden being led around and helped up a step by their leader in Africa?
He's an embarrassment.

No, sir. The inflation that happened under Biden was also a result of COVID. So you either use it as a reason for the effects on the economy or you blame the sitting president. You can’t have it both ways.
Personally, I took it into account when judging Trump’s handling of the economy, but MAGAs like you didn’t do the same for Biden.
So, Trump gets credit for the economy crashing under his watch. These are your rules.

Not really apples to apples.
Biden took all those people who got laid off because of COVID and took all the credit when they were rehired after COVID . Everyone knew the reason Trump's employment rate dropped and knew the reason Biden's employment rate took an increase even though they won't admit it.

The fact that you despise Biden but somehow like Trump is absolutely bizarre. All Trump does every day is show his ass and prove what a reprehensible human shitstain he is. But you’re all like “no no look over here!”

Think about whatever morals you’ve convinced yourself you hold and realize Trump doesn’t believe in any of them.

I think I know your answer but let's do a thought exercise.

Say Trump beats Biden in 2020. What would you project the U.S. inflation rate to be in 2021 and 2022 under Trump? Keep in mind that the US inflation rate was roughly in line with the rest of world.

Biden is the most corrupt President in modern times. It's amazing how you call out Trump but look over Biden.
PS.. I don't think Trump is innocent in many, many things.

Huh? Nothing in my post indicated that I was referring only or even primarily to the unemployment rate.
The point is that you can’t give Trump a pass for economic challenges he faced due to COVID but hold Biden responsible for economic challenges he faced due to COVID. Does that make sense? You can’t have it both ways.
You say, “they won’t admit it,” but from where I sit you won’t admit that Biden inherited an environment that resulted in high inflation. You also don’t seem to want to acknowledge that inflation also came back to normal levels while Biden was president and without spiraling into recession, something most people thought was very unlikely to happen.

I can agree to this. No problem with this. Lots of factors can distort statistics. Both sides use them to their advantage.
