My mom was pretty happy with her $55.00ish monthly Cost of Living Adjustment until she learned that the Medicare Part B premium is increasing by almost $18.00 a month and the annual deductible increased by $26.00. And then her Medicare Advantage Plan from 2025 has major increases across the board coming in 2026 but she refused to change when the time came because it's the one both her and my father had for years before his passing and she "hates change." I set her up a Medicare account and researched all the available plans.... and had a much better plan picked out for her, but she wouldn't budge off of sticking with the old plan. I can't even explain how counter intuitive this is because all she did for months is talk about all the perks my aunt receives with her Medicare Advantage Plan and how she was going to switch to something better.

But hey, she still has a President that she's plenty happy with so there's that.
I am truly glad my State Pension kicks in the part whatever it is Prescrption coverage. Glad because it is a no brainer for me to not change ................If I change that goes away
