Woefully behind the times, yet again.

"Tyson Foods will pay $55 million and Cargill $32.5 million to settle a beef price fixing lawsuit filed on behalf of consumers in 2019, according to Reuters."
And I'm sure the price fixing netted them 5 times that much. So, once again, those with money win.

“… Officials in at least a half-dozen states confirmed that some SNAP recipients already were issued full November payments on Friday….”
“… In an order released to reporters at 9:17 p.m. EST on Friday night, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson issued the administrative stay that the government had requested, giving the court of appeals time to weigh in on the Trump administration’s motion for a stay pending appeal. “This administrative stay will terminate forty-eight hours after the First Circuit’s resolution of the pending motion, which the First Circuit is expected to issue with dispatch.” …”

SCOTUS just sucks

Shitweasel waited till after 6pm on a Friday night to ask the supreme court to intervene. Trying to hide the fact that he actively does not want theses payments going out.
If he's trying to hide it, he's doing a very poor job. He wants to stir unrest so he can go full authoritarian mode.
