We put up our decorations on Saturday. It is a new neighborhood for us so no idea what the trick and treating will be like. My kids don’t TorT any longer.

I watched the original Halloween tonight and now I am watching Halloween 2018. I wish they had just done this one movie instead of making Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends. Ends really ruined it. If they had taken a few things from Halloween Kills and put it in the 2018 one it would have been a perfect way to end the whole Michael Myers story.

Ends got fucking stupid. I didn't hate it but it wasn't needed. Also, Halloween is great because it wasn't gory. Kills to some degree and Ends for sure just got gross

I’m not a fan of Halloween. I haven’t thought it was fun since puberty. I never really enjoyed wearing a costume and going out during my single young adult days. I generally find trick or treaters (and their parents) annoying. We typically go out for a leisurely dinner at a grown up restaurant so we aren’t home for trick or treaters or encountering costumed adults who think a dress up pub crawl is fun. It is the one holiday where I truly am a Scrooge.

Maybe like Scrooge you'll have a spiritual awakening and learn to keep Halloween well...

The missus and I deliver candy to the small children in our neighborhood two days prior to Halloween.

Tomorrow, we will put yellow crime scene tape across our front walk, turnoff our outdoor and indoor lights, close our curtains, and enjoy a quiet night binge watching "The Resident"

I guess today is the day to pull out this chestnut from Norm (RIP): I think if we want to get serious about the war on terror, a good place to start would be America's haunted houses...
