She has an economic speech in PA about to start.

My guess is she will stay on topic, unlike the former guy
Unfortunately, between Helene and Israel’s escalation with Hezbollah, I don’t think there’s much space in the newsosphere for this right now. God forbid we focus on what the presidential candidates want to actually do for/to the country.

Well even here, people mainly want to talk about the crazy shit he says

It's OK. It will be reported by the PA newspapers and since PA is apparently all that matters, the message will be heard by who needs to hear it.

"He's just not very serious on these matters, and one needs to be serious." (on Trump's stupid tariff crap)

Shocked there's nothing here about her today. How did she do in Arizona and at the border???

Now that she's doing interviews, just wait until Dear Leader and his motley crew start complaining that she's too busy doing interviews to care about what's happening to the people in western NC affected by Helene. You know it's coming, because that's who they are.

Is she interviewing with The NY Times, WAPO, WSJ?

No?

She’s not serious.
That’s one way to think about it. But consider also that’s she’s trying to win an election in today’s media landscape.

Over the past few days I’ve been trying to get people to vote in this little contest for the Linville Rescue Squad. What I’ve noticed is that there are individuals on social media that have more reach than traditional media. Did you know that the Holderness family has five MILLION followers on Facebook? That’s pretty big reach right there, and likely more followers than all the news stations in North Carolina combined.

Kamala just did an interview on the Call Me Daddy podcast, which is apparently “the most listened to podcast by women.” I posted a clip from it in another thread. It’s no New York Times, but it sure might be an effective PR strategy when your objective is to win the election. Doing these types of interviews are a way to get voters to listen to your message, who ordinarily might stay within their own bubble of media (whether that’s right-wing, conservative, or in the case of some young people, apolitical). Her goal here is to WIN.

The fact are clear. She was running for the Democratic nomination and took positions that were outside the norm for most Americans. If she’s challenged on some of those positions, it might not go well. She’s likely to win. Why would any responsible candidate put themselves in a positions where they look bad? Trump isn’t disciplined enough to make the case against her. Harris shouldn’t do any interviews. The goal is to win.
