1st stringers still in the game for TCU -- not sure why. If Hoover blows an ACL, Sonny will be run out of town.
 
If I'm Sonny Dykes, I am running up the score even more and rubbing UNC's noses in it. All of this bullshit talk about "the NFL's 33rd team" yadda yadda yadda has surely pissed off more than a few college coaches.
 
I'm reading around online and found another potential silver lining...

As bad as our schedule is, we could still do well enough to make the Duke's Mayo Bowl. If we win, wouldn't it be amazing to see Bill Belichick covered in mayonnaise at the end of this first season? That might be a good use of $10mil for the season.
 
In other random football news, I really like ESPN's new score chryon for football. I feel like it gives a lot of information without being obtrusive.

And I really like that the color for the team on offense is emphasized, I just think it's cool.

I posted earlier that if we did poorly in this game or season generally then the national sports media just would pile on 24/7 all season long. It appears they're not even waiting for the game to end to start rubbing it in. UNC football is going to get a lot of publicity all right, but I don't think it's going to be the kind of publicity the UNC powers-that-be thought they would get by hiring Belichick.

That fumble kinda defines this game…….well…..that and the 75-yard TD run and the absolute beatdown.

I wonder with that fumble if Gause has been fumbling the ball a lot in practice?
