I also posted earlier that I wondered if Belichick, like Brown, saw the UNC coaching position as a comfortable way to cruise towards real retirement. After this disaster I guess we'll quickly find out if that's true or not. The Belichick of old would have moved quickly and even ruthlessly to fix the problems, including replacing/benching players and personnel who didn't perform to expectations. We'll see if there's any major changes or switching of players and changing of schemes and play calling, or if things pretty much stay the same with some empty rhetoric about fixing the problems with nothing really being done (a la Mack). If Belichick says at the press conference after the game "We'll need to look at the tape" or something similar we'll know what's really up.
