Heels vs Horned Frogs

There are program defining moments. Games that mean so much more in reality than they do on paper. A win tonight would have been one such moment. Instead, we witnessed the death of UNC football. Great job.

I also posted earlier that I wondered if Belichick, like Brown, saw the UNC coaching position as a comfortable way to cruise towards real retirement. After this disaster I guess we'll quickly find out if that's true or not. The Belichick of old would have moved quickly and even ruthlessly to fix the problems, including replacing/benching players and personnel who didn't perform to expectations. We'll see if there's any major changes or switching of players and changing of schemes and play calling, or if things pretty much stay the same with some empty rhetoric about fixing the problems with nothing really being done (a la Mack). If Belichick says at the press conference after the game "We'll need to look at the tape" or something similar we'll know what's really up.

This, 100%. It isn't that we lost. TCU was favored. It's that we STILL look every bit as poorly coached, poorly managed, and just generally shitty as we ever looked under Fedora and Mack 2.0.

Before the game, lots of question marks - including DL, OL, QB.

After the game, lots of question marks - including DL, OL, QB, DB (any team with Marcus Allen playing a lot is in trouble), and Special Teams. Certainly questions about Offensive Coordinator.

Man this game really went as perfectly as possible for the ABC crowd and everyone else wanting Belichick to fail. Probably best to stay off the college sports side of social media for awhile.
