* Until 645 PM EDT.

* At 606 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of Angier, or 14 miles west of Smithfield, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD... 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE... Radar indicated.

IMPACT... Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Smithfield, Clayton, Micro, Selma, Wendell, Pine Level, Coats Crossroads, and Flowers.

Really nice thunderstorm in Raleigh at the moment.

We had some nice thunderstorms in SW Orange County this afternoon; but, it only amounted to 1/4 inch rain.

Nice thunder and a couple of spectacular lightning bolts.
