Yes, they will. I just don’t see him coming here to come off the bench.
Getting drake & Ian back is really my number one hope for our roster right now. Even 1 of those 2 would be a huge victory IMO.

Yes, I do. I mistakenly assumed he was a PG because a SG averaging 8 points a game isn't much.Do you know basketball at all?
Sounds like we missed out on him, he's going to Wisconsin.Nice to get some of our roster filled out.
Would like to get the PG from SDSU locked up soon, & then on to bigger targets.

I'm curious what you mean by this.Oh man, damn. I thought he'd be a great fit for us. Sheesh.
Must be the weatherSounds like we missed out on him, he's going to Wisconsin.
I heard he really likes cheese.Must be the weather
Yeah, if he were a junior (maybe even a sophomore), his numbers would give me serious pause, but they look fine for a freshman when you consider his apparent upside. This kids a freshman right? Pretty good chance he could improve quite a bit
By bigger you mean that seven foot big we are talking with, correct.Nice to get some of our roster filled out.

I agree that we have a need and that he would have addressed that, but what about his game did you find well suited to our offensive and defensive style of play?
Would he not then share the opinion that we would be a great fit for him?
Maybe, but Hubert needs players that can make an impact now, or next season isn't going to be any better. Maybe he'll make a huge jump his sophomore year.Yeah, if he were a junior (maybe even a sophomore), his numbers would give me serious pause, but they look fine for a freshman when you consider his apparent upside.
He only averaged 9.4 points per game. I don't think he meets CF's metrics. If we can land this guy, 7 footer Veesaar from Arizona, who is on campus now, I'm going to start feeling a lot better about our roster for next year.

Arizona big man Henri Veesaar visiting North Carolina
Two years after Arizona picked up a huge transfer from North Carolina, the Wildcats could be sending one to the Tar Heels. Arizona redshirt sophomore Henri Veeswww.si.com
From a fit standpoint, he would bring what is probably our most important need - even more than a big - with Cadeau and RJ gone: a lead guard who has shown he can credibly handle a large playmaking and scoring role. Whether he can truly be that for a top-level team is an open question. But we are going to need multiple guards/wings who are comfortable with the ball in their hands and can create offense for themselves and others. Our offense will never get off the ground without that.I'm curious what you mean by this.

Well, apparently Wisky saw the same thing you did. That's the problem with bargain-hunting. It works best when the bargains can be kept secret. He just seemed solid to me. I liked his A/TO ratio, his ability to hit a 3, and I thought he'd do well in our PnR plays. But I think what was most intriguing was that it seemed like we wouldn't have to break the bank on him, so we could go out and pay good money for a stud wing or a stud center.
