It said that it's not unusual in the circumstance where the team has bused in from such a short distance.

But not speaking with your coaches for nearly 24 hours (and, potentially, the players for longer than that) when there are rumors swirling about your job is pretty atypical.
Here’s the thing… the way that article was written has us all assuming he didn’t talk to the players after the loss. That assumption would have made sense in like 1985, when we only had landlines and no answering machines. But we are now all connected 24/7. You think he didn’t at least reach out to the players by text? The article could be very misleading, even if the facts presented are true. Just a thought.

If he's not in communication with his coaches, what makes you think he's in communication with the players?

I honestly don’t care enough to go back and forth about whether Hubert handled the situation correctly or not, but do want to point out that Norlander is the gold standard for CBB reporting these days. If he feels confident enough to put details like that in an article then he vetted it as well as any journalist could.

Billy Donovan?
Field of 68 just did their podcast and Goodman seems to think that's who the first call should go to. At the risk of sounding like a delusional wolf packer, BD as a candidate is growing on me. I would have maybe had him as Top 5 but I'd firmly put him in my Top 2-3 at this point. He's got the kind of presence and personality that could thrive in the media spotlight and scrutiny that the UNC job would bring, and we know the guy can coach.

The post you were responding to did not say anything disrespectful about Hubert. It simply said he did not perform up to the standards of the UNC program. Expressing that sentiment does not Somehow put someone at odds with Dean.
Yeah well you jumping in midstream probably means you didn’t have the context to be commenting on it, but that didn’t stop you.

Billy Donovan is 60 years-old (and a rough 60 looking at recent photos).

Yeah, age is a concern. But I don't know, he seems like he's still got a lot in the tank.

“One source told CBS Sports that Donovan would, at the very least, listen and be intrigued by the potential to coach at North Carolina,” Norlander wrote. “Donovan previously passed on courtships from other big college jobs, but North Carolina is the one school that Donovan has always held in especially high regard.”

To make you guys advocating for change even happier tonight, the NCState 247 guy is saying Will Wade to LSU is a done deal.
Wait! What? LSU must really love that dude. They didn’t want to fire him until they got shamed into doing it back in the pre-NIL era and now they want him back!

Not excited about Donovan.
