Will Wade has the perfect body for the NC State job.
Myron Medcalf said on ESPN radio that Hubert was the first UNC coach that was actually fired (as opposed to agreed resignation or retirement) since 1952.Well I was wrong...I thought Hubert would fall on his sword.
BD as a candidate isn’t delusional.Field of 68 just did their podcast and Goodman seems to think that's who the first call should go to. At the risk of sounding like a delusional wolf packer, BD as a candidate is growing on me. I would have maybe had him as Top 5 but I'd firmly put him in my Top 2-3 at this point. He's got the kind of presence and personality that could thrive in the media spotlight and scrutiny that the UNC job would bring, and we know the guy can coach.
That is one frumpy looking MFer…..especially for a 43 year-old.Will Wade has the perfect body for the NC State job.
Me, too. Maybe he feels like he has something to prove. Hope he thinks about it and that's not all or even a big part of why.Wow. I'm a bit surprised he wants to jump back into coaching.
And there's always the chance that neither the players or coaches would reveal a contact by him if he asked them to keep a secret. I suspect they might have a twinge of guilt themselves. The source might not know because they know he's a source. Here’s the thing… the way that article was written has us all assuming he didn’t talk to the players after the loss. That assumption would have made sense in like 1985, when we only had landlines and no answering machines. But we are now all connected 24/7. You think he didn’t at least reach out to the players by text? The article could be very misleading, even if the facts presented are true. Just a thought.
I still don't get the deal about the press conference. What did he lie about? Is it the fact that he wasn't willing to let everybody in on how badly they felt about a season and , for Hubert, a career ending loss. He was supposed to wallow in the pain on TV for everyone's amusement? You saw the presser.
Jason Capel is coming home
You're assuming you actually know what happened you don't. Your bias leads you to automatically thinking Hubert did something unseemly. Give it a rest. The man got fired. Go do whatever it is you to celebrate.Lol like clockwork. His bizarre press conference and ghosting the team and coaches certainly indicates he knew his time was over. Stress makes people do crazy things but this is not a great look at all.
Didn't really thank the school for giving him the opportunity (it was all Jesus). Oh well.
Can you quote the parts that led you to that conclusion? He knew it was all over and it seems he blamed the team?
They just fired him.Didn't really thank the school for giving him the opportunity (it was all Jesus). Oh well.
What is it they say? Jesus always has a plan, except when it comes to firings and things like that.
