While it would be so much more fun to surrender to Mexico, it really needs to be Canada, because the red states will secede, and all the blue states except Colorado and New Mexico will be contiguous with Canada. Purple states NC, GA, and AZ have some hard decisions to make: be part of the confederate states of america and suffer financially and educationally, or join New America and give up the lost cause.
