IC going to On3

What are you going to do?

If it were me, I'd likely either let the subscription lapse until more info is given or I'd renew for a month rather than the entire year until I could see what is going to happen.

My subscription is up at the end of November, so I guess I'll have lots of time to figure things out.
 
One thing that will be interesting is if On3 will allow the Main Board to become the absolute toxic cesspool that it was on Rivals. If you are unfamiliar, when signing up for whatever team site, you also get access to a few forums that everyone on the network posts on.

The main board is just shy of being that neo Nazi website Stormfront. Looking at it right now, there are numerous threads with every kind of bigoted slur imaginable. When I looked at it on Rivals a handful of years ago, more than one poster was calling for the assassination of Democrats.

It is wild.

I went ahead and canceled so it won't auto renew next week. I will see what happens with IC and then decide if I want to re-subscribe. I don't care about the boards but I do love the job they do providing UNC coverage. So I assume I will still sign up.

Edit - actually I will miss the baseball board as I learn a lot from the diehards on there.

I saw someone on IC saying Ben and Buck should just be independent like TexAgs. I was like oh man...what a disaster that would be. Places like that and Tigerdroppings are a sports version of 8chan.

Hmm. I see them but will look when I get home.

If you subscribe to the new IC on On3, you get access to this “main board” that is a communal board that fans from every site can post on, on the On3 network.

I can't legally speak about anything related to 8/1, but I can tell you they have brought on a moderator specifically for the women's basketball board and the olympic sports board. i can't legally stop anyone from connecting the dots between your post, mpaer's, and this one.
