Now people are going to give Trump and his band of incompetent morons exactly what they want. I can almost guarantee that fringe groups, self-described anarchists and others looking for confrontation, will descend on Minneapolis, and there will be property destruction.

That, in turn, allows Trump to shift the narrative: he can point to disorder, label it “rioting,” and justify deploying the National Guard. The focus then moves away from the original issue and onto law-and-order theatrics, which is precisely the outcome this strategy is designed to produce.

The 1 standing in front of the vehicle fired the 1st shot. He might have fired all the shots. She tried to run him over. Would have if not for the road being covered in ice.

She very much did not try to run him over. Did you notice the vehicle turning?

Meanwhile, the problem was created by the asshole who walked to her car and tried to open the door. That's called carjacking. It's illegal, and she has the right to defend herself by driving away.

No it’s illegal to obstruct federal agents trying to do their job. Or any law enforcement officer for that matter.

Look at the tires. Turning to the right, clear of the officer, and toward the middle of the street. That officer would have been in perfect position to see the driver turning the steering wheel away from him and, quite possibly, looking down the street where she was trying to drive. Here is a screen cap at the time of the first shot.

Here's the thing. Why was that person anywhere near the car? The person put himself in danger by walking toward the car. There was absolutely no reason for any of that. There were multiple felonies committed by ICE in about five seconds.

You want to talk to me about the law? Really? Really?

Asserting your rights is not obstruction. According to your idiotic logic, an officer could barge in your front door, saying "we're doing an investigation." You say, "get out of my house," and then the officer arrests you for obstructing the investigation?

Nope. That is not how things work. Not at all.

Clearly he was basically already out of the way, the half stop sideways got him out of the way, as he watched the vehicle back up and turn to the right. Clearly the 4 hours of "training" these agents hired off social media had to do wasn't adequate.

What a joke we are as a country.
He also kept shooting as he was beside it and it drove by him.

She may have been scared they were going to attack her. Such fear would seem to be justified.
Law enforcement always puts great weight on the position that they can act with impunity whenever "they feared for their life", but there is zero weight put on the public's fear for their lives (from someone who is armed and increasingly trained to shoot first).

Nah thats a cop out and you know it, homie. They are the authority if you like it or not. Its just stupid to not follow their orders no matter if you feel their orders are unlawful. Thats what our court system is for. Just a senseless avoidable tragedy.
