“The government of Ecuador has condemned what it described as an attempt by a US federal immigration agent to enter the Ecuadorean consulate in Minneapolis.

The agent was prevented from gaining access by consular officials, who acted "to guarantee the protection of the Ecuadoreans who were inside the consulate at the time", a statement by Ecuador's foreign ministry said.

Ecuador, whose president is an ally of Trump, has filed an official complaint….”

They should have shot him. That is their sovereign territory.

Fuck off and die, Tim, you cowardly fuck.

You are wealthy enough that you control “FUCK YOU” wealth.

Despite having and controlling “FUCK YOU” wealth, you choose to fellate Donald Trump. Go fuck yourself, Tim.
Come on man, it’s not that simple. Apple has over 150k employees worldwide that he has to look out for, not to mention the many thousands/millions of others implicated in Apple’s supply chain. His calculus is not personal and even if you disagree with it, his own possession of fuck-you money is basically irrelevant.

I was going to give this argument some weight and then the AP popped up on my phone and notified me that Amazon is firing 16,000, on top of last October when they fired 14,000.

I don't think the welfare of t the workforce is factor in these decisions.

If there’s any silver lining to this, it’s that right wingers are finally seeing the light and acknowledging that it’s not a good idea for people to carry guns around everywhere.

(And yes, that is sarcasm, as I’m well aware that it’s pure hypocrisy rather than some form of enlightenment.)

Yes and no. Consider that if you don’t play nice with the admin, you might have to lay off even more. Not saying that as a fact, my point is simply that the corporate calculus is not down to the CEO’s personal wealth.

Living on your knees isn't living.

They won’t stop, only difference is when they do it they will be right white and Republican. No problem there. If you are a Democrat with a gun you are a domestic terrorist looking to start a riot or civil war, if you are a Republican you are a Patriot and only exercising your lawful right while trying to maintain peace and order.
And they get brainwashed with this all day every day.

Easy to say when you’re not running a massive enterprise with many thousands of lives at stake. We all gotta serve somebody.
Condemning them to a life of tyranny is better? If the strong and powerful don't stand up ,who does? Trump's a tinpot despot and somebody needs to call him out.
