It's like changing your shirt after shitting your pants. Can someone explain how Trump sending Tom Homan to Minnesota while recalling Greg Bovino somehow makes things better?
definitely stealing this line, lmao. It's like changing your shirt after shitting your pants.
Plainly?
Agree 100% But claiming Lisa Murkowski is calling for the resignation of Kristi Noem to spare Stephen Miller seems a bit of a stretch. I hate to defend Murkowski, but it just seems logical to me that a Senator is going to go after a Senate-confirmed cabinet Secretary who is responsible for the organization which is at fault. A Senator has no input or impact on the selection or White House advisors, so what power would a Senator's disapproval have over a Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy regardless of how influential that advisor might be.Steven Miller is plainly the both the proximate source of, and the primary achitect of, the Trump adminstrations's use of ICE as stormtroopers to terroize American communities. That is plain. I don't see a lot of point in beating around the bush on that.
Eh, I did start this duiscussion by clearly stating how cynical I am about this issue.Agree 100% But claiming Lisa Murkowski is calling for the resignation of Kristi Noem to spare Stephen Miller seems a bit of a stretch. I'm not arguing that Miller isn't the devil. He is. I am taking issue with the conspiracy theory that Murkowski is part of some grand Trumpian scheme to sacrifice Noem to save Miller. I agree Noem may well be the one to hit the road for this fiasco, I just don't think there is any evidence that Murkowski is doing this at the behest of the Administration to spare Stephen Miller.
Did anyone have a WTF moment when Rubio said Venezuela was a "gangster paradise" they were fixing?
No doubt. And given how much Trumpers generally hate one another, once there's blood in the water they all turn into sharks trying to devour one another and be the last shark swimming next to Daddy Shark Trump. I would imagine that any halfway competent reporter is going to have a field day in the next few weeks getting juicy stories of backbiting, finger pointing, screaming matches, and all the rest coming from Team Trump as they all start texting and calling reporters to covertly (and eventually overtly) blame somebody else in the administration for what's happened with the ICE debacle, and in Minnesota specifically.Sounds like folks are starting to try to cover their asses.
I don't think Murkowski cares one way or the other about Noem or Miller. I think her expression of " concern " is not based upon her ethica, or Constitutional principles. She is just wanting to distance herself from this when the shit comes down.Agree 100% But claiming Lisa Murkowski is calling for the resignation of Kristi Noem to spare Stephen Miller seems a bit of a stretch. Here's the nutjob that attacked Omar. Police believe that the substance was apple cider vinegar.
This is a real problem. Scalise, Giffords, Frost, Omar, Pelosi's husband. It's a miracle no one's been killed yet. I think we're going to need to start paying for secret service level protection for these congressmen.

Now it's time for you young musicians to step up with protest songs. Don't leave it to us old folks to continue carrying the torch...
