Trump issued executive orders. He did not implement them. Most of them are being invalidated because they didn't follow the proper procedures.Strange that newly elected Presidents can implement executive orders almost on Day 1, but it took years for Biden.![]()
In case after case, Trump policies are being struck down as arbitrary and capricious. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any of his executive orders that:
A. purported to change law or policy in some way;
B. has been upheld in court on its merits.
To the extent that they have not been invalidated, it has only been on jurisdictional grounds (i.e. plaintiffs suing under the "wrong" provisions of the US code).
