I don’t think it is ok to “bomb a country to hell,” or even to threaten to, for any reason and I believe that the consequence of doing it will lead to far more American deaths than not got into this war in the first place would have.

Of course not the 15 demands. But it is being reported that Trump TACO'd for a ceasefire subject to Iran opening the Strait. Has Iran agreed to that or is the Admin even claiming such?

A war worse than what we have now and the potential for israel to use nukes. Years of high gas prices and global economic uncertainty. The potential for an ever expanding war worse than what we now have. Losing the current support from SA and much of the rest of the ME. What we have now is a shit sandwich. That could quickly turn into an entire meal of shit.

Problem with this TACO shit is that at some point he will realize that he is appearing weak to his base and do something horrendous. Trump is a very sick person...the bomb is ticking.

I think what many people are aware of is the fact that, in the near future, no matter what we do, Russia is going to funnel uranium back into Iran, or another country that has grown to hate the United States and Israel as much as Iran, and all of this will be for nought. This war is Putin’s wet dream.

You seem to think this is a one-off thing. It isn’t. Acting like terrorists, in order to defeat a terrorist country isn’t going to defeat terrorism. It is going to breed it. Going at this without the support of the world isn’t going to make Americans safer. It is going to weaken us, and fracture the world.

If Trump is successful at his goals, he isn’t going to be satiated; he, and Hegseth, and this administration are going to hunger for more, and eventually they will hunger for American lives.

You keep saying you are all about logic. Play things out. In every scenario, Trump’s actions in Iran - and in general - are costing us so much - at a time - the dawn of the age of artificial intelligence - when we need be setting up rules of war for the new era, not breaking the rules of war that have been put in place since the era of World War II.

You want Iran to not become a nuclear state. I get it. But this is not the way to make the world safe. And you need to stop defending this administrations actions, because this is, in no way, how America, or any country, can treat another country without grave consequences.

I agree with your first part completely. I also agree that a primary should have been held, but believe that, by the time Biden willingly stepped down, holding one would have been impossible. The way I read your third point, however, contradicts the first sentence in your claim.
