It might be just me, but it seems odd for the strongest nation in the world to bragging about partially destroying a bridge.

I mean, yeah I would hope that a military as funded as the US one could take out a bridge. What's the big deal?

Bragging about that is something guerilla rebel units do for publicity. It really falls into the act like you've been there category.

As we mentioned earlier, Iran said earlier today that it had shot down an US fighter jet.

The Associated Press is now reporting that an affiliate of Iran state TV claims the fighter pilot ejected from an aircraft in southwest Iran.

AP said the US did not respond immediately to requests for comment over the claim.

Roughly half of Iran’s missile launchers are still intact and thousands of one-way attack drones remain in Iran’s arsenal despite the daily pounding by US and Israeli strikes against military targets over the past five weeks, according to recent US intelligence assessments, three sources familiar with the intel told CNN.

“They are still very much poised to wreak absolute havoc throughout the entire region,” one of the sources said of Iran.

The US intelligence assessment total may include launchers that are currently inaccessible, such as those buried underground by strikes but not destroyed.

Thousands of Iranian drones still exist — roughly 50% of the country’s drone capabilities — two of the sources said the intelligence indicated. The intelligence, compiled in recent days, also showed a large percentage of Iran’s coastal defense cruise missiles were intact, the sources said, consistent with the US not focusing its air campaign on coastal military assets though they have been hitting ships. Those missiles serve as a key capability allowing Iran to threaten shipping traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.

At least, the first time they admitted it.

I trust this administration to tell the truth about as much as I used to trust Pravda and Izvestia.
 
Trump is a coward, a criminal and a fool and used simple, crude language but he's not really doing things we haven't already done. He's just really bad at everything he does.

We have some historians on here and they can probably attest to what really brought North Vietnam back to the table in Paris. It was rail, bridge, power stations, water treatment sites. Linebackers I&II and Arc Light.

In '91, we were not bashful about where we wanted to inflict pain to send a message. We even studied it and teach it now in Carlisle.

Iran is a force to be reckoned with.
