If I didn't know better, I'd think Iran is trying to get bombed.

Don't know if Trump will see this or not, but it likely won't contribute to rational decision-making by him.

To me whether this AI video accurately portrays Trump's lack of guts isn't the point. The point is that Iran feels emboldened to mock the president as surrendering by accepting the conditions of the ceasefire.

Iran isn't remotely concerned about the US, not because our military is weak but because they know that it is not feasible politically and economically for Trump to escalate this war.

They want to embarrass Trump. They feel Trump created a perfect opportunity for them to do so.

They know that a massive bombing campaign against Iran is politically untenable.

If two months ago Iran had closed down the strait and/or demanded excessive tolls to cross, the international community would have rallied against them. Trump just created the perfect opportunity for them to do that without significant blowback. This has all been a gift to Iran all because of a lack of planning on the part of the administration.

I’m not as confident as you that an embarrassed Trump will be restrained by what is politically untenable.

I doubt they expect anything less. Trump has already bombed them twice during negotiations.
